re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, Part 13!

Backing up a bit, I believe there's no doubt that Goyband being widely released could only help Adam's career. Since it is a camp comedy, audiences would evaluate his performance within the genre, not against some higher standard of dramatic excellence. I've seen the rough edit and thought he was great in the role - something that seemed to be a general consensus at the screening I attended. At this point in his filmmaking career, he really just needs exposure more than anything. Also, keep in mind that since it's an independent film, it probably won't be widely released in the first place if it's deemed truly awful (e.g. Temptation).

Lexi - you provide a great view on it. I don't disagree that his performance in the movie is probably A+, but the plot itself is going to be a hard sell to the general public. Stranger things have gone on to have huge followings, but i just don't have a strong feeling about this one. But it will no doubt be loved by Adam followers (and until recently it never sunk in just how many there are!) and is something for his resume.

That's exciting you got to see a rough edit of the film Siamese. What was the film like as a rough cut? What was the basic plot line? I have a rough idea about the film story but it's still kind of murky.

The plot is a hard sell for a Hollywood blockbuster, but it's an independent film. The majority of independent films that are released appear solely New York and LA and only the very, very successful move on to larger markets.

Goyband could work if they market it right. I'm actually really interested to see how it turns out. It's cool that you got to see a rough draft, Siamese.

My friend commented that Roger was VERY tan for living in NYC and never leaving the house, lol. It's always the little things that people notice!

I know, Chloe! Anthony didn't look SO pale back then, but now the two of them next to each other Anthony looks like a ghost!

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, Part 13!

i swear i'm so pale that Anthony would look dark standing next to me. i just have no time to go lay around in the sun and do nothing. not to mention i have no time to sit still waiting for the pain to go away.

Anthony is really pale compared to Adam. I wonder if Anthony has ever been tan. It would seem odd for him, though.

I just got back from the beach, but I had surgery on my toe before I left, so it's been all wrapped up since. It made for an interesting tan line: the entire top of my foot is *very* tan -- except that toe. It's still just as pale as I was before the trip, and it looks completely ridiculous.

Hope you're toe feels better Emcee!

I'd say I'm probably paler than Anthony and maybe even Polly combined. I'm a red-head who never, EVER goes out in the sun without a hat, SPF 80, and long sleeved shirt and pants. It kind of sucks but in the long run I'll have nice skin while my classmates will look like shrivled up prunes (due to there frequent tanning trips) when there older. I should wear sunscreen, but I rarely do. It takes me a long time to get a good tan going. The little girl that I babysit for wears SPF 35 or 40 every day and still has a gorgeous, golden tan because she swims every day. I'm so jealous

I rarely wear sunscreen because I don't burn easily. This summer, I haven't been out in the sun much, either. But this week I should be...

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, Part 13!

I usually always need sunblock because I will burn. I'm not a big water person, so I don't sit out often in the summer, just the random vacation. However, I am a big fan of the Jergens tanning moisturizer. I use that everyday and it gives me a decent base coat.
