The Golden Icon Awards have been presented annually by Travolta Family Entertainment since 1993, highlighting achievements in Entertainment, Fashion, and Leisure.
Committed to recognizing positive achievements, but not without a sense of jest, the Travolta Family Entertainment Golden Icon Awards have awarded the Humanitarian Efforts of political leaders and product awards based on detailed testing, while reserving enough humor to offer awards for Least Bad Actor in an Otherwise Terrible Production.

My favorite was that Diego guy who sang the whole show with his friend in 2 minutes. Brilliant!
Thanks for the links, robin.

I can't believe the closing is so soon. I don't know if I have time to see it again, either.
Did anyone check out that website for the theaters showing the final performance? There's actually some near me, for a change..

I'm torn about seeing it in the theater just because I don't want to be surrounded by duds as I'm watching it. Then again, if I go with other people and make a night of it, it might be fun. I'm still undecided myself.
Also, lol to this:

Is there any other way to watch the conference call video, the internet knows I'm in Canada and refuses to let me watch it because it's only available in the US. Snobs :P

Has anyone seen Hamlet 2? If you have, is the theater that they show at the end the Nederlander?

I wonder if any theaters near me will show the filmed 'last performance'. I should check. I know the one nearest to me won't because it's a sucky theater, but one a little ways further might.

I am pleased to report the "last performance" will be showing at my local theater. I am so looking forward to seeing it, especially since who knows when we'll ever get to see this movie...
