re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

Adam looks about eight in that picture. I suspect the lines and circles are from wear and tear over the years. My ex-boyfriend's pictures all looked like that, from being used as coasters or getting jammed in his wallet.

misschung, I thought the same thing about the guy on the left. I hope he's the one in the Foo Fighters cover band. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

I get that, Chloe, but I was just trying to casually point out that Photoshop can help with damaged pictures.

Don't try too hard not to smile, you hardkore rockstars you.

Yeah, you definitely can. And those lines don't look like they're on the photos themselves, do they?

I just noticed the American Primitive one in his bio, lol

The lines aren't on every picture, but the circle is. The flavah of the distressed aesthetic is kind of gone when every header is distressed in the same manner. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

Thanks!

And skittles, I did. I was buying a ticket for Sunday in the Park with George and I needed reassurance and Em wasn't online. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

Last night his homepage disappeared for a while, too. Did anyone else notice that the scrolling text bar is gone now?

As much as the website's fun, and it's amusing to watch Adam(?) change it, it looks like Halloween threw up. Not to mention that it looks like something a 12 year old would make for their personal website. Sadly, it looked better before, if that's possible.

and if it is indeed him doing all these changes...I can just imagine the world of names we here have been called in the last few days, lol.

Having no visual esthetic sense to speak of, I'm much less critical of the design than some of you. There's one very important element that seems to be working well, and that's the list of upcoming shows, with addresses, phone numbers, maps, and links to buy tickets. We've been saying he needed that forever, and now he's got it.

I personally couldn't really care less about the actual website, I just love all the hubbub it's causing! So amusing (not saying here nor there, just in general!).

I agree, Chloe. I noticed that part right from the get-go. It is a helpful resources. Although a-p.com provided exactly the same information..

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

That's true, but I know she had to really dig for some of that info, and when we here were trying to find out correct dates, times and places there would sometimes be contradictions or ambiguity. Hopefully we won't have to worry about that now.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

Even if he's behind the changes that have been made in the last 24 hours, it doesn't invalidate anything we've said. Scrolling text and color washes are still stupid. Having a guestbook on the main page probably isn't the best idea. Etcetera. I'm betting we'll all be a touch nicer about it now, but the critiques are still valid. If he's calling us names under his breath, so be it. We're entitled to give our opinion about the site just as much as the girls creaming themselves over it are.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

Exactly. Him messing around with the colors, if he is, doesn't negate the lack of professionalism about the whole thing, the poor design that it BEGAN with, the fact that fan interaction has no place there, etc, etc. -- everything we'd been expressing BEFORE he started possibly messing around with it.

Just as saying something positive doesn't invalidate what's wrong, there being things that are wrong doesn't invalidate what's right. I don't like being negative, and I know some of what I've said before came out of anger, hence looking on the bright side a little.
