For god's sake. The constant alterations and updates are what you're supposed to do BEFORE you launch the site. You mess around with drafts for awhile, THEN post it. You don't put up your rough drafts for the world to see and make edits publically (while constantly pulling it offline). It's unprofessional (I feel like we say that word constantly these days, but it is) and tacky.
If you applied this to any other venture, it would just sound ridiculous. Adam releases his CD, then 2 days later: "Oh, wait, I want to change this song! Can I have all the copies back so I can fix the mistake, then get it back to you when I finish?"
