The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14, version 2.0

I would personally prefer that Adam be doing a wonderful show here on Broadway, but that is something he obviously hasn't been able to find yet. I'm sure this'll be tough in terms of all the travelling and all the time Adam's away from his family, and maybe he wouldn't be doing it if his wife hadn't had so much time on strike. Meanwhile, there are plenty of fans excited at getting a chance to see him and Anthony on this tour, and I hope the rest of the casting is good too. They'll be union people this time, of course.

That's a nice article. It reminds me of the format of the huge Rent book, and I think that's pretty cool.

Speaking in terms of Adam's honesty, I love this quote:
"Pascal: When I go to Santa Fe, and I'm singin' on the f---in' rocks? While we were shooting it, I was like, 'This is a bad idea. This is a baaaad idea.' But I'll tell ya, it was fun to do."
"I'm sort of like a child genius without being a child or a genius."~Tim Rice-Oxley

That's a good article which feels very real. Thanks for linking to it. One interesting thing is that Adam was obviously not as into the show back then as a lot of the rest of the cast, because he was so into his music. Now I feel like he's become much more loving of his stage performances, including Rent.

"We looked like some ragtag gang. Like we should have slingshots in our back pockets, and frogs."

By far my favorite part. The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14, version 2.0 Great article. Somehow managed not to rehash too terribly.

Adam is right, too. The Newsweek picture is awful.

I'm not up to doing that kind of thing yet, but "Vita and Virginia" certainly sounds like an interesting show with two good actresses. Hope you can make it. I also noticed that Daphne Rubin-Vega will be appearing there on March 14 with her band. I really enjoyed being at the Zipper. It's a fun place.

Oh, not that. This thing:

I know people who have spoken really highly of his writing, and I can't say I'm not intrigued by the mention of Billy Joel and Jonathan. Adam was listed to be at the concert, but I wonder if he'll still do it since he's been sick.

The listing seems a little ambiguous to me. It's mentioned that there will be "surprise special guests," but the artists then mentioned are in relation to the recording, not necessarily as being at the show. Of course, I wouldn't be surprised if several of them end up there. I hope Adam is getting better. I have a friend who was sick for close to three weeks from some kind of flu.

Hmm, yeah, you're right. I thought there was one on theater mania that said he joined the lineup for the concert, but now I can't find it. I'm beginning to wonder if I didn't see the article in a fever-induced dream and then somehow woke up thinking it was real.

When you search the TheaterMania article this is the teaser:
Upcoming show at The Zipper Factory, where notable Broadway songwriter/producer Jeremy Schonfeld will be performing with guest stars including Shoshana Bean, Adam Pascal, Tracie Thoms, Lauren Kennedy, Amy Spanger and Jarrod Emick.

Then the article proceeds to say the whole surprise guests with the listed people being featured on the album.

A little late, but thanks LePetite for posting the EW article. I saw a copy of the actual magazine, and it seems the about half of the article (and most of Adam's colorful responses) was cut in the print version.

Oh, good, at least I didn't make it up. The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14, version 2.0

I can tell this is going one of those situations in which if I do go, he won't be there, and if I don't, he will.

Nah Emcee, I bet things will work out for you, and I really hope he's there. Since he's got a show a couple days later in Texas, it doesn't seem impossible that he'd make it back here beforehand. If so, I hope anyone who goes gets some good pictures. Thanks for the info, girls.
