re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

Can someone elaborate on meandlarry.com? I hate being so out of the loop...

I had such a great time at my first Adam show; it was the one he did with Daphne at Kean. Th Joe's Pub gigs (shortly thereafter) are tough competition in the favorite department, though.

i got to meet Jesse as well at my first Adam show so i don't know if it could have gotten any better, hehe.

meandlarry.com is supposed to be the website they are creating for the new tour/album. But at the moment it is still "coming soon".

I also loved the Q&A that followed Adam's concert in Platteville. I was pleasantly surprised at how articulate and thoughtful he was, despite the annoyances of people asking him to light their candles.

Bohemian, meandlarry.com is the site that is supposed to be arriving, sometime in the near future, with information about Adam and Larry's collaborative CD. So far, nothing definite.

lol about lighting their candles, Ariella. That was like at Anthony's reading when someone asked if "The East Village was the coolest place ever to live"

Tink, that's such a bonus about Jesse - I would have died!

That's what I figured.

It was so much fun to meet him, even if it was for only thirty seconds. I loved the show so much. Hearing Adam sing What I Did For Love was probably the highlight for me. Is he still singing that?

I'm probably just in an awful mood due to the extreme amount of studying for a class I should have never taken, but can I just reiterate how stupid Me and Larry sounds? For someone who wants to be taken seriously as a musician, he needs a savvy manager who calls the shots. Provided I enjoy the album, I'd love to recommend it to friends, but it's embarrassing enough to say that you're a fan of Adam Pascal's solo music, much less having to say the words Me and Larry. Someone should remind me why I care, after I'm done frying my brain.

Also, Jesse L. Martin is a delicious piece of Godiva chocolate (don't care if that sounds racist), and I totally bet he's 100x better than Adam Pascal in bed.

... Adam Pascal is Max Brenner's chocolate fondue. Less klassy, but the marshmallow-roasting is always fun. The strawberries are always good, but sometimes the banana bread pieces are dried out.

It's frustrating to be a fan of someone who squanders away potential. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

I'm sorry to be so annoying, but I've got a really off topic question. In Playbill's press release for Next to Normal, it says that it's a six person cast, but there were only five in Feeling Electric, right? Do you guys know who the sixth is?

Me and Larry is the only thing that could top Next to Normal as far as bad titles go.

... sorry. I don't know. Craww probably has a better idea, cuz she loves Rapp.

Bohemian, there were five actors in the NYMF production, but the son and the boyfriend doubled -- so that's where six comes from.

Thanks Emcee. I'm looking forward too seeing it again, regardless of the cheesy name.

"When I die, I want my ashes sprinkled over Jesse L. Martin's apartment!" Jesse's had more practice, so I wouldn't be surprised if that were accurate. And he's not married. So no guilty interference from reality in your fantasies. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

The mere mention of Max Brennar fondue still makes me feel kind of sick, heh.

Yeah. As was discussed yesterday, I think that's the reason why it's frustrating that we get bored at his concerts these days. He does the exact same songs. The exact same jokes. The exact same outfits. He can do better. We know he can do better, because we've seen it. He's selling himself short. I don't think it's wrong to acknowledge that.
