re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

it's definitely true, and not wrong that we're saying it. He needs a manager with some moxy who will push him out of his comfort zone

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

As was discussed yesterday, I think that's the reason why it's frustrating that we get bored at his concerts these days.

I totally agree, and I was referring to the current state of his career in a general sense as well. The move to LA was so ill-fated. He still hasn't broke into mainstream movies and there are months upon months where fans hear little to nothing about his career because he's home. The lack of an actual publicity team. The lack of a website (although I think that's being somewhat resolved). Giving your tour/album(?) a juvenile name, and yes, playing almost the exact same show (down to the jokes) for two years (I love that you mentioned the outfits). There's this sense of lackadaisicalness that hovers over his career.

I don't know, maybe he's content being unambitious (as Craww would say), at least in a practical sense. Even worse, I have this image of this post becoming the post read before Book of Endings at the next concert. Because God knows that's never going to leave the setlist.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

It's kind of late, but I'm so envious/excited of/for you GG... I've never been to a solo Adam show either. I'd love to go to one, but I don't see it working out too soon.

and although, as made obvious from the above statement, I'm not the most seasoned Adam fan, I completely agree that he needs someone to push him from his comfort zone... it's frustrating to see someone with so much potential not be the best they can.

Personally, what I'd really love to see him do woudl be something on Broadway, but being the he doesn't live in NY anymore, I realize that this isn't likely.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

I have that fear every time I post something that's critical.

But I mean, if he does repeat that type of post a la the last BOE intro, it's still repeating the same shtick. And it would just be more obvious that he's still performing the same routine over and over.

That being said, if he ever does read one of my posts, put me out of my misery on the spot, whoever's sitting closest to me

Forgive my attitude, I just spent all night working on a cryptic assignment for a class that I despise

Adam's Broadway State of Mind tour could do him wonders. If he actually started doing it...

shameless repost.

I'm still amused over how defensive he seemed when he said "Yes, that's the name of the project!" at the Columbus show. He's obviously read the criticism, so you would think that might inspire them to rethink it.

Stubborn.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

I would post it on his MySpace so he can option it for the album's cover, but I don't want to inspire a "now now, kids" blog from Adam about how hurtful it is to call Larry's ponytail lame.

He's totally going to use that picture as the album cover.

Nah, he'll draw his own. Which will come out looking (not) surprisingly like that.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

He's just gonna draw his own cuz he's cheap. I was only gonna ask him for $200.00 to simply cover the costs of my crayons.

I could probably present him with that drawing, and alternately a legitimately good Photoshop cover that I spent 12 straight hours on, and I have a feeling he'd choose the crayon drawing every time. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

I personally think Christina's picture would be 1,000 times better than Adam's; but that's just my 2 cents re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

And I found my word of the day that could slightly relate to Adam's Aida days *cough-insert sarcasim-cough*:

"Those moobs are quite sizable."
"Indeed."

Sometimes I still try to convince people that the famously unfortunate Aida picture is all due to the lighting.

Unfortunately, that was one of the first photos Buzz ever saw of him, so it didn't start a good impression, lol.

Hee, that was my first impression of Adam, and I was horrified by him shirtless.

ETA- I've been looking for a reason to eat cake all day, and I just realized it's my BWW-versary. It's sad that I'm using that as an excuse.
