I was reading an interview that I hadn't seen before, and apparently Adam mentioned this spring that he expects the new album out around Christmastime. I guess he's not too keen on my idea of having a new album ready to sell as he's touring this fall.

No, that never seems to have been a plan, logical though it is. I hope that Christmas is correct and it doesn't get postponed like Civilian was.

As I posted a couple pages back, he also said he wants to write a musical. I think he, Larry and Cybele should collaborate on something. I know Cybele has worked on writing a musical herself as part of her Juilliard program.

At least there's gonna be a new album I'm excited since the music is going to be "stripped down." And with some previews from the LA shows.

If no one else is going to do it...

Setting aside the questionable advisability of collaborating with one's SO, I think it could be really good. I've heard that Cybele is a very good writer, and we already know Larry and Adam make a great team.

Here's a question for everyone - in The Ringing in My Ear, what do you think the line "afraid of God and sex/ why do I get up at all" means? In other words, how literal do you think he was being?

Hehe, yes. It's sort of a documentary about what's supposed to be "the dirtiest joke ever told," and they interview a bunch of famous comedians to find out their take on the joke, since most of it's improv.

I'll get over it, eventually. The problem is I've felt pretty much the same for a few years now. I just get myself so worked up that when nothing ends up happening I'm in a mood. Now I'm not sure what to do with myself tonight. I tried sleeping, but that didn't work. So once again I'm reorganizing my iTunes.

I really wish I could see Sweeney again before it closes, but I came to this revelation about 8 hours too late for it to be a possibility.

It smells like mulch outside my window and I'm having an allergic reaction to it.

And Adam actually was wearing a fanny pack.

What a horrible night it's been.
