I'm glad to help, and you know I want to see your pictures from LA, so I have an ulterior motive. First of all, do you have your pictures on your computer? I can't help you with that part unfortunately, but I'm hoping you've already done that.

The next step is to figure out which picture or pictures you want to post. Sometimes it's fastest just to copy them onto the desktop where they're easy to find, or you can make sure you remember what folder they're in and how the ones you want are labeled.

Next, go to the site I've linked below. You'll get a page where you can choose the file you want to upload. If the "upload: file" choice isn't already selected, do that first. Then click on "choose." A window will appear in which you can select a picture file from your computer. If it's on your desktop, make sure that "desktop" is selected in the center menu on top. Otherwise, select the appropriate folder. There will be a list of files and/or folders from your computer. Click on the picture file you want to select it, then click on "host it!"

After a few moments, another page will appear with a number of URLs on it. I always use the very last one, called "direct link." Copy the URL you want and paste it into the "Optional Image" line or directly into the message itself here. Your picture will then appear within the message. Over at IMDb, it will only appear as a URL in the message, which you can make into a direct link by enclosing it within [url] and [/url].

Thanks, Angela. Also, Larry Edoff has posted a list of shows that includes all the ones we know about, minus Westminster College. He was reliable about the spring tour, so it looks like that one isn't happening.

Today in my English class we had to read a poem and analyze it. When my teacher passed out the poem, I realized it was a Langston Huges poem. Me and about 3 other girls at the back of the room just started singing, Langston Huges, to the stage...and so on for about 30 seconds before we realized that everyone was staring at us. So, yeah that was interesting. Just thought I'd share.

Just to add to the talk about school, I haven't even signed up for all my classes yet (lectures begin the 5th, and there's an add-drop period of at least a week). The problem is that I want to take a foreign language course, but can't decide which one!

I once lightheartedly decided to take a year of Russian because I like their literature. That was a mistake. The alphabet is fun though.

No, you don't even need to use the optional link or optional image fields. Just take the address of the image itself (e.g. hXttp://Ximg99.imageshack.us/img99/4757/adamwhatididforlovebx9.jpg - without the "X"s), copy it, and paste it into the message text box. It'll show up as an image when you click "post message."

It's a strange concept for me that you all had to do summer reading and papers to prepare for the next year. We never had to do that here, summer was summer, no school (unless you failed).

Nice picture! Were you pretty close to the stage?

You do have to load each one into Image Shack separately, as far as I know - there's an "upload another image" to click on in the upper left hand corner - but you can post as many as you want in the message box.
