That reminds me. What ever happened to The Wall?
And yeah, I haven't heard a clear version of the song, but even if I had, I wouldn't know.

It's at the end of one of his new songs, apparently. I was like, "Um, isn't he ripping off Eclipse? Oh wait, he's covering it." I'll show you later. Don't know if it's a part of the new song or just something he decided to do at random one night. Gotta go to class. (Love ya!)
(Love ya too, Emcee.)

I have no idea what Eclipse is.
Oops.
Yeah, what did happen to The Wall? Weren't they considering doing something Broadway-related with it?
I'm really only a casual Pink Floyd listener, so I'm not sure I would have noticed it, either.

That's really cool. Which song is it? I didn't listen to all of them (are you referring to the videos on the forbidden site?) My dad's all time favorite band is Pink Floyd, so some of the songs slowly transfer onto my iPod.
That's confusing. Is it a new song he and Larry wrote with influence from a Pink Floyd song? Or is it a cover of an actual Pink Floyd song?
Either a cover - or parts of the song were incorporated into Adam's and Larry's. I wasn't anticipating it so it was a while before anything sounded familiar.
Yup, they're on the site not to be named.

I'm glad other people remember The Wall rumor...
Funny that my dad knows (and cares) very little of musical theatre...but as a lifelong Pink Floyd fan, when I mentioned the plans of the musical a while back (and Adam being in it), he was actually really interested. Even now, he'll occasionally be like...so what have you heard about The Wall musical and that guy you like in it?

I don't remember that rumor! When was this?
I never heard that rumor either (about the possibility of a "Wall" play or that Adam would've been involved) but I was out of the broadway loop for a few years.
...Interesting.

I couldn't even begin to tell you...it's been quite sometime now...
ETA: Okay, not THAT long ago (I was thinking it was earlier than this)...In 2004 it was announced the rights had been acquired to do it...so sometime around there his name got attached...that was all I ever heard of it though...

The stories about The Wall becoming a musical date back to August of 2004. The rights were acquired by Miramax at that time and Harvey Weinstein was quoted about his interest in it (see the link). Now he's no longer associated with Miramax, so that might be part of the reason why we haven't heard anything more about it. it's also probably not an easy project to adapt for Broadway.

Thanks Chloe. Wow..never heard of it. Interesting.
Thanks for that info Chloe. I had never heard about that until just now when I read it. Learn something new everyday right?
On the other hand, right now I would like to chop off my feet.
Pink Floyd totally relates to musicals. Hasn't anyone ever tried Dark Side of Oz?
Awww, you guys, look. Broadway Bears has a Radames bear this year, signed by Adam.
This one's for Sarah. It has nothing to do with Adam -- it's from My One and Only -- but still:

Is it awful that I think it's hilarious the obnoxious MySpace girls were essentially called insane in this article?
Clicky
Oh my, and they actually published their myspace names!!!! That is hilarious!!!! "less stable" is a nice way of putting it. Of course, the one girl will be at the Forum show, heaven help us all! Thanks for posting that article!
I think it's even funnier that they cite specifics!!

Also, is it awful that I noticed that article was poorly written? "Screaming vocals"? "High-pitched singing was surprisingly masculine but still very dramatic"? Props to her for noticing the Pink Floyd, though (even if she attached it to the wrong song), and citing specific MySpace girls. That's amazing.

It's a college paper, right? It is pretty poorly written. "First this happened. Then this happened. Then this!" The MySpace bit makes up for it!
It was the first time I heard him compared to Chris Cornell, I give the writer major props for that, as Chris is one of my other singer crushes.

Ha! That article is great (in a hilarious way.) I can't believe they cited the actual myspace names. I happened to be looking at his myspace page before I saw that article, jeez, some of these people just love to post about their day to Adam. What is the point in that? Heh.
I agree, the article was very poorly written. And I love how the title isn't even spelled right. "More tham "one song glory."

I love Chris Cornell! In a strictly platonic way, but I love his voice.
It's 3 PM and I'm still not out of bed. This is pathetic.
