<-- I was overdue for an Adam avatar. Adam, aren't you flattered?
It's lovely, Alex. Adam must be very proud.
Thanks, Emcee. I just have to smile at the picture whenever I see it. I'm on a really strong Raul kick right now (no offense intended, Adam), what with all the anticipation for Company.

Of course he is.
Is the NJ concert Friday?
I believe so, or at least thats what everyone has been saying.
*Emcee: I know this will probably sound ridiculous, but I wasn't sure if anyone would be offended or not by me bringing up the myspace issue. In all honesty; I'm kind of afraid to speak my mind on the message boards. I don't want to spawn an argument or cause any trouble; that's why I apologized.
To the Stage & Brina - Yes there is a concert at Rowan College tomorrow, and then the public concert we are all attending is on Friday.
brina - love the avatar. Don't ever be afraid to say something. You have the same rights as everyone else here. As long as you are respectful to yourself and the other posters, don't worry! **Edit - Didn't see that addressed to Emcee...sorry for butting my nose in.**
Sexy av, Brina. Scrolling up and down the pages is like a parade of attractiveness.
Nope, I'm definitely not offended! If I seemed sort of high-strung about it it's just because the idiocy of some such kids makes me mad. My profile's private -- it's only logical, you know? I agree with you. I'm not easily offended, so no worries. (And when I am, I let people know it!) Please don't feel like you have to walk on thin ice with us and do speak your mind!
Yay Raúl. And Adam. =D

I think a lot of us come across as a lot harsher than we actually are! Reading my last few posts on this thread, I can understand why lurkers are afraid to post here. I swear, we won't bite!
And oh my god, Emcee. He totally does have a penis for a nose in your avatar.

Haha..he really does.
I think he's cute! I only see it on the full-sized version, though. Not the thumbnail.
Well, given that the show itself is full of phallic symbols, that might be appropriate. I said the same thing in almost the same words, Lexi. It's not really the nose itself, but the combo of the nose and stubble shading. I think the eyes and posturing are a perfect representation of Bobby, though. Wrong thread, but... ahh, I can't wait to see Company again. :)
I wish that I could go to one of Adam's concerts, preferably with some of you guys. The only ones that have been remotely close to me were still three hours away.
He's like a little pocket-sized Bobby. I like him!

The show itself is full of phallic symbols? Really? Like, a marijuana joint or a birthday candle? I guess I never really noticed them. Elaborate.
And we want to take you to an Adam show, too! I just can't wait to hear his voice live again. It just blows you away.
The big one is the way that Bobby clings to the column in big group numbers... and the fact that it's like, in the center of his apartment.
I think I read some speculation once that the Seagram's Building reference in the script was kind of a phallic reference, although it's more obviously talking about... well, alcohol.
I don't get WHY that's funny. I Googled the Seagram's Building, and I can't find any reason that that would be funny. Is David just being a jerk?
Heh, I wondered about that column even just from the pictures. It just seemed to be featured so prominently... I hope some of this was intentional or I'll begin to wonder about the true depravity of my mind. I can't look at your avatar with a straight face, Emcee.
ME. EITHER! (For Fantab.)
I don't really get why it's funny, either. Did it make more sense in 1970? Is David the one who says, "He's the only guy I know I think should drink more."? Maybe he just thinks... with his life situation, Bobby needs alcohol? Or the phallic thing.
Hee, thanks
I think they're poking fun at him. I mean, it's an office building. Maybe they're making fun of him for... his job? I guess it's possible that he's a Wall Street banker type guy. Or his need for alcohol. Or... phallus. Heh.
BWW is being weird.

Double post with a post in between. Impressive.
I always imagined Bobby as a disinterested investment banker. Kind of the type who puts in just enough work to do a competent job, but nothing beyond that.
And he probably makes a ton of money doing so.
