To the Stage & Brina - Yes there is a concert at Rowan College tomorrow, and then the public concert we are all attending is on Friday.

Nope, I'm definitely not offended! If I seemed sort of high-strung about it it's just because the idiocy of some such kids makes me mad. My profile's private -- it's only logical, you know? I agree with you. I'm not easily offended, so no worries. (And when I am, I let people know it!) Please don't feel like you have to walk on thin ice with us and do speak your mind!

I think a lot of us come across as a lot harsher than we actually are! Reading my last few posts on this thread, I can understand why lurkers are afraid to post here. I swear, we won't bite!

Well, given that the show itself is full of phallic symbols, that might be appropriate. I said the same thing in almost the same words, Lexi. It's not really the nose itself, but the combo of the nose and stubble shading. I think the eyes and posturing are a perfect representation of Bobby, though. Wrong thread, but... ahh, I can't wait to see Company again. :)

I wish that I could go to one of Adam's concerts, preferably with some of you guys. The only ones that have been remotely close to me were still three hours away.

I think I read some speculation once that the Seagram's Building reference in the script was kind of a phallic reference, although it's more obviously talking about... well, alcohol.

I don't really get why it's funny, either. Did it make more sense in 1970? Is David the one who says, "He's the only guy I know I think should drink more."? Maybe he just thinks... with his life situation, Bobby needs alcohol? Or the phallic thing.

I always imagined Bobby as a disinterested investment banker. Kind of the type who puts in just enough work to do a competent job, but nothing beyond that.
