Agreed. Don't worry Siamese I would dance with you, and then just deny it when I got back to the boards! =) j/k
Emcee - I hope you feel better!
I wonder if he's gotten security for protection from his myspace fans for after the show?

Heh! Awesome. I feel bad that he just plays to people sitting in their seats the entire time, but then, the music he plays now doesn't exactly lend itself to moshing.
He always has security at his shows. I mean, his "bodyguard" looks about 50, so it's not exactly like he's this big burly guy who could take down a mob of people, but I'm sure he could deal with one crazy little teenage girl. I think a certain someone from here described him as the type who tries to be overly masculine and probably never has sex because he feels that would inhibit his masculinity. I think that's the best description I can think of.
Also, I love that Adam is probably reading this and thinks that we're the craziest of them all.

Not crazy, just oddly critical.

It's okay. He's on good terms with me right now! I like the new songs, for the most part. I've grown to have a little faith in Goyband. I approve of the hair and wardrobe... which is, of course, the most important.
I learned at an early age how to mosh to any type of music! Have no fear. It did feel odd at his other show, just sitting there. I attend mostly all metal concerts, where sitting down is not an option.
The security question was more of a joke, but it's all good.
Should we wear name tags so he can find us and run in the opposite direction?
I've only been skimming the MySpace posts, but has the Mkay or whatever the heck her name is posted where she'll be sitting? She will definitely be an annoying one.

I love your avatar! It's that time of year already, isn't it?
Thanks! Tomorrow, Em. Do you believe it?? Three years gone by.

Oh my GOD, it's been three years? I had such a great time when I saw the show, but I was never really attached to it... I didn't have time to be, since I saw it like the week before it closed, but I can't believe it's been that long! That's how I felt when I realized it'd been three years since Cabaret closed, too. That's one that I really wish I'd gotten more time with. My experience with it was such a whirlwind.
I really hope things are better with both you of guys.
It's weird. I'm usually so excited the week before these things. Today I looked at the calendar and thought 'Oh, wow. This is in two days'. I've been on emotional overload this past week, and it's sad that I'm probably most looking forward to getting away from everything for a night. I know I probably shouldn't even be going with everything I have to do, but I was impulsive and bought a ticket. This is much more fun, anyway!

I have so much work to do this weekend, but I'm treating myself to one fun night before getting down to business. I've been putting off this work for weeks now, so it's all coming back to haunt me.
I just went over to her MySpace to see what to be on the look out for. Her profile says she's 16. She looks like she's 12!

I think her little group of friends is 14-15, though - right? I don't know. My favorites are the pictures where they're trying to look "sexy" in their "LIFE YOUR LIFE!" American Eagle tops and pouting into the camera. "Attitude" t-shirts went out in 1999, girls.
Also? Blonde streaks in your hair that make you look like a zebra? Not attractive.
I totally want to post their pictures here for everyone's entertainment, but I guess that would be overly cruel.

I've never actually looked at their pages, but I might have to now.
She looks more like she's 12 in my opinion, and I absolutly adore the fact that she doesn't have a friends lock on her myspace; thus any pedifile could waltz right in and take a gander at who she is. Sigh, I hate it when kids my age do that, its really unsafe.

My school just got a talk on that today. Ironic...but everyone in the building was older than 12. What's scary, though, is that the average time it takes a pedophile to find a person after having looked at their MySpace is 12 minutes. And they don't even have to be a computer expert.
I just looked at that girls page and I am disgusted. It looks EXACTLY like the type of profile that my sister and all of her little friends have. My sister is only 13 years old so I'm guessing she's lying about her age, most 16 year olds are not that immature(actually I don't know if she's really immature I just couldn't think of a better word to put there). She also should find some other types of music/interest other than just RENT.
Have fun at the concert guys! Hopefully she won't be too annoying!

Honestly? Sorry to sound like such a mother, but EVERYONE who is remotely young should friends-lock their MySpace and approve only people they know are completely safe. I know a girl who had someone show up at her work after finding her MySpace profile. She didn't even know who this person was. It's scary, and I don't know why anyone would want that much of their information out there anyway. Oh yeah, because some girls are attention WHORES.
Yeah, I don't really understand why anyone wouldn't do that just... automatically. But I guess they want people to see their profiles and think they're cool or whatever. I only friend actors/musicians and people I actually know.
Moi aussi Emcee, and I'm sorry I brought it up; I just hate it when people my age do irresponsible things like that you know? You'd think they might have a little common sense...and then you see that :-/ Well, I hope everyone has fun at the concert on Friday (???) or whenever everyone is going next; make sure you take lots of pictures! Also thought this might brighten up the board a bit...

I'll have to look at her myspace, but I can definitly picture the "type" of girls they seem to be. Oy, hope they're not sitting right next to you guys.
I would totally dance with you Lexi! (If I was going, that is ) Adam should incorporate some of his new Goyband moves into his concerts.
The hair is actually starting to grow on me, after watching some of the videos from his past concert. It looks kind of hot.
I hope everything works out at home Lexi, and I hope you feel better Em.
I'm currently addicted to John Mayer's new cd..just thought I would put that out there.
ETA: His smile is so great there. And of course the 80's shirt and the parachute pants.
Huh? No need to apologize! The irresponsibility is totally ridiculous. I don't get why you wouldn't want to keep safe.
And, aw pretty smile.
They're asking for trouble, that's for certain. I mean, myspace isn't just a slime pit of pedophiles, but some things are just common sense. Though someone who feels compelled to add extra letters to everything and generally abuse normal communication probably doesn't have sense in abundance.
They're probably lying about their ages, too. If they're young, most people bump themselves up to at least 15.
I remember the same discussions back in the day when AOL was the "it" thing and people had profiles/website. I used to fight with my dad that I was so mature and could handle it, but when something freaky did start happening, it was beyond me. People are in too much of a hurry to grow up now a days.
Ariella, your avatar is just so, so adorable. He's at the top of my list of favorite people right now.
