Of course - I just listened to Elaborate Lives, as it happens. Which songs did they play?
Bye, Dani -
Goodbye, love

So bs2b, have you been checking out Adam-Pascal.com and Adam Pascal Online lately? There's a lot of info and new stuff.
I've been so lurk-y lately. I feel like I never have anything to say.
On Jeopardy, they had a question about Aida, on Thursday. But it was about the opera.
There hasn't been a whole lot of news lately, obviously.
Went from "Every Story is a Love Story" to "Enchantment Passing Through" for our warmup. The music made up for my muscles that I'm sure will scream tomorrow
Sadly, my dear Chloe, I have not been keeping up with Adam's websites, but then I have BARELY been keeping up with BWW.
2nd semester last school year was crazy, involving very difficult classes, being cast in a Dept. production of a heavey Greek tragedy, and a romantic relationship that ended with a natsy breakup
Then I did the Disney College Program, which ate up my summer.
But now I'm back at school, back on BWW, not in a show and definately NOT in a relationship, thank goodness
But is Adam up to anything big I should know about?
It sounds like you've been awfully busy, all right. Well, two things are going on at the moment. He's doing some dates in and around NYC in October, and working on a new CD. He played two concerts in LA at the end of July and performed three of the new songs. I really like them. If you go over to AP Online, you'll find excellent videos of them. There are also some concert dates in January, with probably more to come.
Oh sweet! Thanks for the update
I did know about the new CD but not about the concerts. Any word on whether he'll hit FL or NC?
One of the January dates is in Suffolk, VA, so depending on where you are in NC, it's do-able.
I may seriously have to look into that
At the moment I only know about one in Virginia on 1/20, plus a couple in the midwest, but these dates are known only because someone has come across them on the sponsoring organizations' websites. It will probably be like the April tour, with four or five dates a week.
The best tour information right now is at A-P.com.

*waves from the corner where she's been lurking*
Hi Amber! We seem to have a lot of lurkers tonight...
Bs2b, here's a link to buy tickets for the Virginia show (yeah, they're on sale already). It's in Suffolk, VA, which is in the southeast corner of the state.

I always feel like a lurker because I never have anything important to contribute to the conversation, I just say random things at random times.(like right now)
I'm going to get my homecoming dress today and I'm really excited because I love dress shopping!
Me too! But homecoming is ridiculous this year. Someone came up with the bright idea that the dance should be a toga party. So we all show up in sheets. I don't know how much worse it can get. Apparently you have to pass inspection before you're let in - basically the Dean gets peer up your toga to make sure you're properly attired. Wow.
The Virginia concert seems so random... no one ever comes here!
Ooh, there are still some very good seats left. Maybe my friend Hannah will want to go (she has sort of a crush on Adam).
We have to plan prom at my school this year, and we just started back, but I've got some ideas. I really hope prom doesn't suck, because then we'd be forever known as the "The Juniors Who Destroyed Prom"...though I haven't heard anything as odd as "Toga Prom". Lol.
Yeah, his dates are so weird! I live in Tennessee, and was hoping I could go to the Suffolk concert, but it's a 14 hour drive which is DEFINITELY demolished now because I'll already be driving through VA that night to go to Washington, DC. School-sponsored trip, no possible way to jump the bus and go to his concert, lol.
Siren, I hope you can go!
Well, I suppose it's better that they destroy homecoming than prom. Being an "academic" school, we tend to lose homecoming anyway. Badly.
Susan Egan's gig at the Metropolitan Room has student tickets. Adam's should, too, considering that the majority of his fans are young. I'm glad I'm going to get to see him, but booo.
***RANT***
Ok, so I set off today to find my homecoming dress and I hope we find a good one because it's my senior year. We go to a few stores and I put some of the dresses on hold just in case I can't find any that I like better. Anyway, I go to a store and I see the PERFECT dress. Turns out I need the next size up because the one size they had was too tight. They called about 5 other stores in the area to see if they had that dress and they don't!!!! I'm so upset!!!! I have no idea what I'm going to do now.
What a shame. Do you have time to look for it online and order? That's the only suggestion I can think of.
Do they have it 2 sizes up? Then you could get it professionally tailored. That's the only other thing I can think of. I'm sorry - I know how frustrating shopping can be.
If you can't get that dress, I hope you find another you like just as well.
I found this blog today, by someone who became a Rent and Adam fan from seeing the movie. She's also a big baseball fan. (For a minute I thought I'd stumbled on Lexi's secret blog.) Scroll down a bit for the section on Rent.

Hah. What's even more sad is that I recongize that username from a message board that I read. For what it's worth, I always enjoyed her posts.
