OH. Yes! I remember now!
I had to look it up of course. It gets down in the forties there in the winter, which would be pretty cold for homeless people. One up to Adam.
Yeah, Louisiana can actually get cold at night. I've been there a couple of times (woohoo living in the south...except for the whole "no broadway people come here" thing).
Whoops. I thought it was warm year-round! So when he made that comment, I was like ".... okay?"
It is mostly, but it does get cold. It's one of those southern stereotypes that everyone believes, except for those who live in the south! =D
Right, that's why I had to look it up.
Did everyone get the word about checking Adam's LJ? There are some nice things there for members.
I may just join that so I can play with the members only stuff...thanks again for that, chloe!
Please do! :) We have a few crazies there, but most of the members are pretty cool. They're definitely not like most of the fans on Adam's IMDB Board. *yeesh*

I had to drop in because yall are talking about my state. By the way, it DOES get cold here...for about two to three months, haha! It almost never snows though, and last year it was in the 70s on Christmas. The coldest it ever gets really is in the 40s though. It was 25 on Christmas Eve 2 years ago, and that was crazy.
But basically March through September is hot. November and October are moderate...December/January/Febuary are cold (to us anyway!)
Hee, thanks for the geography lesson, Katt. We should talk about Lousiana more often if it'll bring you back!

Haha, I try.
Heh...yall start talking about LSU football and I'll never leave. :P
I'm a little behind things, but love the dress, Dancin!
Also behind, but hey, Katt! Can't really converse convincingly about LSU (or football) but it's great to see so many people back.
Today there was a "Fall Arts Preview" in both the NY Times and the Long Island paper Newsday. The latter listed Adam's show in Bay Shore, but the other shows didn't appear. Too bad, since I think the Queens concert could use some publicity. The Times had lots of coverage of upcoming theater events though, and there were tons of full page ads.
I saw that, too. There was a picture of Anthony to represent Rent as one of the long-running shows.
Is there terrible weather anywhere else, or is it just Minnesota?
I'm gonna get a copy of the Times later.
It's the most wonderful time of the year.
There's certainly lots for you to enjoy, Emcee.
The weather here is okay - a little overcast.
Hee, I noticed Anthony too.
I don't usually get the Sunday Times (we get it for free during the week) but I made a special trip for this one.
Ariella, the weather here is terrible too. It's rainy and cold. A kind of *blah* day
So, I realize Im late on this whole Adam Pascal thing, But I saw him in Rent and I went, "Whoa! Who is this guy?"
THEN, the big POW happened. I was looking up showtunes when found "Elaborate Lives." And soon after became obssesed with the show Aida. He is AMAZING in it, or least as much as I can tell from videos I've seen. Him and Heather Headley have such chemistry and for some reason I just can't get over the show in general, let alone Adam Pascal. *Drool* YUM.
It has just been the last two years that I have my love of musicals, which makes me kind of sad in thinking about how much I've missed. But hey, musicals keep coming right? Thats what I keep my sights on.
Hi Sillyism. As you can see, you're certainly not alone. I first saw Adam live in Aida (right before it closed, so not with Heather) and had a similar reaction. The show is a favorite of mine too, despite its flaws. Too bad you didn't get to see it live, as it's even more effective with all the wonderful sets and costumes.
If you're anywhere in the NYC area, Adam is playing several live shows of his own music and Broadway covers here in October.
