I just got back from dropping my brother off at college. *sigh* It's still hard to say goodbye even after the third time. It feels like I haven't been here in forever. I was gone all last night because I'm house sitting for these people at night and I don't want to try and find there computer and turn it on and stuff. Oh well.

Sorry for ranting, I just had to get it off my chest. On a more positive note, I ran into this *really* cute, nice guy that I've had classes with in the past on the way back from Pita Pit and got to talk to him for a bit. So that was good. And I didn't have any *serious* problems with getting connected to the campus network; in past years, I've had to get a computer guy to come over and help me. *thinks happy thoughts*

It really does, Chloe. The best part is that he recognized me as soon as he saw me. You know how sometimes you run into people you haven't seen in awhile and you recognize them and say hi, but it's kind of obvious they can't place your face? This wasn't that, we happened to be walking towards each other on the street and he walked right over to me and said hi. Hee. Sorry, it's been a long time. 
Anyway, Adam. I noticed when I was looking at the site that Adam has a show at Rider University. My cousin goes there and my aunt is on the staff. If it weren't less than a week before the Queens show, I'd consider going to visit.

It sounds like this guy might be interested in you. I hope your paths cross again. I don't suppose your relatives have any actual connection to the show, or I'd tell you to hightail it over there and get a backstage pass. Are they in the choir college? I find it interesting that Adam will be performing at a place that trains people to sing in and lead choirs.

I agree that the new layout is pretty. That's hardly off-topic, though!
skittles, I had the exact opposite experience yesterday. A (cute, but that's sort of beside the point) guy came up to me and said, "Hi, Ashley, how's it going?" and I said, "Hi!" but it must've been really obvious that I was trying to place him, because he said, "You remember me, right? What's my name?" I said, "Of course I do!" but then COMPLETELY blanked on his name (or even, honestlly, what I knew him from). He sort of laughed it off, but it was just in passing so he said to take care and walked away. I spent the next hour feeling awful about it and trying to remember his name, and then suddenly it dawned on me and I felt like a complete idiot. He had changed his hair and grown a bit of facial hair, not that that's much defense (I studied abroad with him for a month and a half last summer)... anyway, I left him a facebook message apologizing and mentioning that, yes, of course I remember him.

I also feel like doing something productive. Like finishing the sudoku puzzle I started this morning.
I'm sorta doing somethin gproductive actually. I'm cleaning out my music on my computer. I have like 780 songs, & I don't listen to half of them. I know you guys were talking about Natalie Merchant, a thread or 2 back. I found one of her songs in my computer, Kind & Generous. The 9th girls this past year sang it to their mothers at a Mother Daughter Dinner my school has traditionally every year. Ok, I'll stop rambling =P

I have almost as much trouble throwing things away on my computer as in my house.
There's a thread on the main board about the Rent movie. I was surprised that a couple of people said that they disliked the show but loved the movie. Most of us have it on DVD, I expect, but for anyone who doesn't, it's been playing on STARZ lately.

I see it like, in the windows at stores or Blockbusters and stuff.
The rain messes me up. It makes me want to stay in a cozy place, but it also makes me tired and kind of depressive. I was up til 3:30 last night, too; I got about 7 hours, but I just feel weird.

I feel out of sorts today, but I don't know why. Maybe it's because I dropped off my brother yesterday. We were close before but this summer we became even closer (in the sense of friends I mean) I really miss him, but it's not like I'm not used to this. He's left 3 times before and the last time he left was when he went to London. I guess I just wish he was still around. or maybe I'm just tired, I don't know.

It seems to be a rambly kind of day. It's great that you're so close to your brother. No matter what else happens in your life, you'll always have him. My brothers are really important to me even though we live far apart. Did he leave to go to college?
I've always thought that the Rent movie would have a long life despite the fact that it didn't do very well in theaters.

Yeah Chloe, he went to college, but this is the third year he's gone so you'd think I'd be used to it.
I was so obsessed with RENT, that when I got the movie I watched it every night for about a month. I think that I've seen it too many times though because whenever I go to watch it, it gets boring, so I'm trying to take a break from it for awhile.
