hahaha..that comment is too damn funny.
Dancin! I LOVE Veggie Tales! I actually have that song on my iTunes. Larry (Cucumber, not Edoff) is the best.
Jesus was the guy that made the comment I had in my sig line. Before the mods deleted it.

He is a hardcore Adam fan.
I was wondering who made your sig, and how long it was going to last :P
I love these random hardcore fans who are absolutely nothing like what you'd expect them to be.
I saw that one on myspace. Adam's myspace is a never ending source of amusement for me.
Hopefully to him too. I wonder which of those band names he and Larry are considering. There was one that I liked a lot, but I can't remember it now.
LEAP
Larry Edoff Adam Pascal
Leap of Faith!
Thats my favorite, its also my cousins but whatever!
That's not bad, actually.
I will take a bow for her!
Do you happen to know as of now to know which show he is doing at which locations?
It's kinda cute/clever actually.
He's doing the same show all over, no? At least as of yet?
That is what I thought but I was a little concerned because of the comment he made at the show you were at about this part of the tour ending, isnt that what he said?

I'd imagine that he's doing the same show he did at the Long Island and Queens shows (the usual setlist minus Liken a Razor and plus the new song, The World Cannot Wait) for the San Fran crowd. He's supposedly recording the new CD in November, so I'd assume the new CD will be released by December/January, and the new CD will essentially become the setlist for the January shows.
I think he was simply saying that the East Coast leg of the tour was done after the Queens show, but I can't imagine he'd completely revamp the setlist for the late October San Francisco shows.

Well, there are two shows in San Francisco Oct. 27 and 28, but after that no more touring until January. No clue as to whether those will be the Broadway version or not.

I doubt the January shows are the "Broadway version," as Adam said he and Larry would be touring again in January at the Queens show.
Speaking of the January shows, I hope a certain someone in this thread can go to the Virginia one!

This leg of the tour; I also took it to mean he's leaving the East Coast now until January, and done with this block of shows.
Excellent, Do you really think the new CD will be out in Jan?

I don't really see any reason as to why it wouldn't be, unless it takes an exceptionally long time to produce - providing that the person who told me he's recording in November is correct, of course. They're supposedly done writing the album. I'd also imagine Adam would want the new CD available to those who attend his January shows.
Turnaround and production time isn't particularly long, and Sh-k-Boom seems to have been very speedy with the process leading up to release lately; so I'm a little skeptical because of how long Civilian took, but definitely more hopeful than I was.
I guess I never actually thought about the time line of it all. I am really excited now!
Civilian somehow ended up taking four years or so, so I'm not *counting* on it being out in January, but I certainly hope so.

I don't know anything about music production and maybe this is silly speculation, but I'd imagine that the "new sound" wouldn't require a lot of time-consuming production. I can't imagine there's much to be done post-recording if they're aiming for a stripped down, acoustic sound.
Civilian might have taken four years, but Adam was doing a lot of other things during the time, right? From what I hear, the songs are written and they're ready to record, so after that's done, it's in Sh-K-Boom's hands.

Well, Civilian came out in what, Fall of '04? And he presumably began writing it sometime in late '01, so part of the lapse was just time off. I remember asking him in like... July of '04 about it, and it was done at that point -- and I believe that it had been for quite some time -- but the release date kept getting flung around. I'm not sure what caused it to take so long; I think the majority of the four years was probably Adam's fault, but there were glitches on the production side, too, as far as I can remember. Hopefully that much is worked out, and if it's ready to record, then it could be out by the beginning of the year.
