Yes, I totally agree. Chess needs to be revived ASAP, and Adam is so perfect as Freddie. I think he fits more as Judas in JCS than Jesus, no? But apparently he's strongly opposed to the idea.
Eh, I don't know. Despite his rock-star edge, he has a charm and sensitivity that I think really work for Jesus. Of course, he could sing either role brilliantly.

If he wont ever do JCS, he should at least sing a few songs from it for me.
Oh, and I'd like to see him as Rocky in Rocky Horror. He'd have some great stuff to sing, we'd get to see him be nearly naked, and let's face it...if we were creating the perfect man, wouldn't it be Adam?
Can Raul reprise Riff?

Aw, MYB. Don't give him a big head.
Who's giving who a big head?

You're giving Adam a big head! Not really, though. I don't think he necessarily needs your help...
I was just kidding...trying to be dirty.

Wow, I'm surprised I missed that.
It's okay, you can laugh at me now.
Lexi, I'm shocked! *laughs at* =P

I know, me of all people not getting that, right?
ahahaha.
Rather off topic but I might be seeing the opera The Tales of Hoffmann with my friends Oct. 22, huzzah!
O, another thought, I always thought it be kind of nifty to see him play the dentist in Little Shop of Horrors. I mean, I don't think he could pull off Seymour; I think he's just to cool for that But as the dentist, I think that'd be fun.
I've long thought he'd make a very endearing Seymour, actually.
I feel so lost with this thread. I used to come here at the beginning because I was depressed and stressed out and this place was my great escape. And now everything's fine again and I feel like I've neglected the thread. I feel like I often have nothing to contribute because of how removed I am from NYC and ever seeing Adam on tour. I miss this thread.

Aw, Sarah. Maybe you can visit NYC next April when he's supposedly planning to play here again. I'm sorry you feel so left out, though.
I really hope so. One of the main concerns of my parents other than "how do you know these people are people?", was the fact that I was so messed up. I've been saving money and things are going really well with me, so hopefully I can convince them. I want to see Company and ACL.
Best of luck of getting to the city. I definitely understand that predicament. There was a phase around Aida and Cabaret when I was doing nothing but saving money so I could go. Also really glad things are getting better. I'd love to see Company and ACL too.
I was watching Seth's interview with Adam and Sherie Rene again (from the Chatterbox DVD) - it's therapy and a reward for making it through 1st quarter. I'm reminded of my love for the Adam elevator imitations.

Best of luck, Sarah.
The way I see it, if I can't go to New York to see all these wonderful shows, at least other BWW posters can. And thus post reviews so that I can have the vicarious experience.
Since you guys were talking about casting Adam in Rocky Horror...I have to say, I really think he'd make a great Frank-N-Furter. Yeah, I know, he doesn't have the exact voice type for the role, but somehow I can just imagine him singing the hell out of "Sweet Transvestite."
(And I doubt that you guys would be completely against seeing him tramp around in fishnets.)
Can Raul reprise Riff?
Was totally going to say that. Can Adam play Frank N. Furter instead of Rocky?
Has he not cited that as one of his dream roles?

I think so. That and Hedwig.
I wonder if Adam would make a pretty woman...
