Probably because the proverbial dog bit him for it.
Oh, did someone have a bone to pick with him about it? I guess I wasn't aware of that.
I vaguely remember it. I think people were offended and thought it was condescending, or something.
I can understand that, but it was kind of cute. Of course, at my age I don't mind being referred to as a kiddie.
A gay guy posted on Adam's myspace that he was in love with him. That's kind of sweet.
Welcome sweetdiaster! I was also at the Queens show. I sat in the second row but on the left side. The girls near me were kinda crazy.
Aw, good for Adam that he's attracted such a variety of fans :]
I think my legs are going to turn to jell-o and fall off.
Sorry, that was really random!

aw, that's sweet.
Adam (since you're reading..) you should post a blog on your myspace soon, explaining some details of that new erm..Goyband movie.
I doubt if he has time at the moment. Remember how they were shooting those long days, and even sometimes all night, on Rent? A smaller budget film like this will have an even worse shooting schedule. It will be interesting to see what he has to say once the shoot's over. He certainly has managed to keep this a secret so far. If Lexi hadn't stumbled across those pictures we wouldn't have a clue.
I was just looking back a few pages and reading about the movie. It certainly sounds interesting, but at least its a lead role and will get his name out there. Another thing, looking at the pics that were linked- is that the same leather jacket he wore in the Rent movie? The vest he's wearing looks familiar too. I think he's wearing it in one of my pictures with him.
Yeah, I thought that might be his Roger jacket as well.

The Roger jacket was sold on eBay.
Maybe there were more than one?
There may have been. If someone spills tomato sauce all over his costume, they don't want to stop the shoot until they get another one. Actors don't usually get to keep their costumes though.

That's true, Chloe. There is a chance he got to keep it though.

I was just curious to know if we (meaning Adam fans) should/will use the new "social network" Adam board. There are mini boards for each show and performer, which I thought was kind of cool. It would be good to post different tour dates, performances, topics, etc. on it. Just a thought. What do you girls think?
I don't know too much about that feature yet, and I certainly wouldn't want to replace this thread, but it does seem like a good way to store the kind of information that gets lost pretty quickly here, like tour dates and links.
I agree w/ Chloe. I would be quite upset if this thread disappeared.

Oh, no no, I wasn't suggesting that this thread should disappear! That would be tragic! I just wanted to let you all know about it, so we could post future tour dates or projects there. It's a new bww feature that I thought we could use, since it's there. I also agree with Chloe. I would never want for this thread to be gone!
I didn't think you meant that, Alex, but your idea about posting general info there is good. Maybe when more posters are around we can discuss what that should be.
Well, Happy Thursday everyone! How is everyone's day going so far?
I think the effort is to cut down on love threads, but we're like a staple.
Nice avatar, Lexi.

Thanks, Emcee! I felt it was appropriate as we're seeing Rent again in a few weeks, and Tim really did blow me away. I like your avatar, too. Looks like the woman on top of him was strategically positioned to hide his growing... oh, never mind. (And yes, I realize that sounds dirty if you weren't in on our conversation last night.)
I don't see why anyone would have any problem using the social network board for posting news. As for the thread - I know many of you disagree with me, but I wouldn't mind seeing the thread exclusively used when we have something AP-related to discuss. Not to say that we can't go off topic at all in those discussions, but I think it looks almost pathetic to keep bumping the thread when no one is actually saying much of anything just for the sake of keeping it on the first page. There isn't going to be much news for a while, so I'm sure that sort of thing is inevitably going to happen, but I don't like the feeling of having to force conversation in order to keep the thread moving. I realize the thread used to be used for a lot more everyday conversation, but since we've gradually moved away from that for whatever reason, I think it looks a bit silly to keep the thread on the first page for no real reason. It'll always be here when we have something new to actually discuss.
I realize no one really asked for my opinion on this, but I thought I'd just offer some thoughts on all the potentially upcoming "wow, slow night!" posts.
That will probably be me posting those, because I don't really post anywhere else to speak of. (I should probably be over on the adults thread or something, but they get so childish sometimes.) Anyway, there's also the fact that "use it or lose it" applies to lots of things, and in this case, once people get out of the habit of posting here, they might not come back so easily.
You have some good points though, and I promise to never again write something like "wow, slow night," which I have undoubtedly done in the past.

Oh, I hope you don't feel as if I was singling you or anyone in particular out - I mean, I've done the same thing at times, I just personally think we should look to move away from that. Honestly, I think most people who post here regularly are big enough fans that they aren't going to desert Adam or the thread entirely if it isn't on the first page at all times. I think it looks a lot worse to force conversation rather than just let the thread run its own course. Ultimately, though, it's just a thread on a message board, and its posts shouldn't be taken as seriously as I'm apparently taking them. I'm not trying to make "rules" or anything like that.
I missed the conversation, but I'm pretty sure I know what you're talking about. A certain Chess photo comes to mind :P
