Raul's voice is very interesting. He can go from traditionally trained Broadway voice to an almost squeeky (I just can't explain it) quality that adds humor, and then there is the growling, and also just natural singing. He's so complex.
He also sounds totally different when he sings showtunes than when he sings his own stuff. I don't know how to explain it, but he says it, and you can hear it.
I agree with sweetestsiren - it is quite impressive how he can sound great with both the more growly stuff and the clear, pure high notes.

On a different bur related note to SG's post: Adam just SOUNDS like a good actor on the Aida CR. After seeing the OBC video, I think his acting left a lot to be desired, but he has so much emotion just in his voice.
Semi-random question for the day: How many Chatterbox interviews has Adam done?
Two. One while he was doing Aida, and another while he was doing Cabaret.
*pouts*
It figures - we're actually talking about Adam for once, and I have to go to bed
Moral of the story: Never, ever, ever sign up for an 8 AM class.

He acts best through music. That's why he was so good in Rent -- because so much of it is sung. He barely had to do any acting WITHOUT singing. Yes, he had to learn to act *while* he sang, but that looks like it comes much easier to him.

Good morning *yawns*
I'm up, too. I woke up because I heard these really bizarre rumbling noise. I got up to make sure everything was okay, but I only hear it right in the corner of my room where my bed is. Not on the other side of the bedroom, not in the kitchen, or anything. I think I'm going to go back to sleep, though, for an hour or two.

As previously mentioned last night by another...I despise 8 am classes *sleepwalks to class*
My roommate's alarm began going off at ten after seven. She's STILL asleep and doesn't have classes for over an hour. I don't understand.
Silly roommate! :-/
Weird, I woke up randomly at 6:30 too, and had the hardest time going back to sleep. I just tossed and turned for about an hour, and by that time my roommate was up. And she does the turning-off-alarm-ten times thing.
I don't have class until 1:30, but I have physics homework to turn in before then.
Now she's up! She was going to get up and do work. They made my class 20 minutes later rather than giving us a break halfway through, so at least I have a few more minutes to be slow.
I woke up at around 7 too. It sounded like they were cleaning the streets or something equally as annoying.
I've come to the conclusion that whatever it was had something to do with my really noisy neighbors, who were up.
So, my suitemate just sat down right next to me and started praying. Again, that wasn't awkward at all. Heh.
Hm. I guess she doesn't think so. :-/ Why doesn't she do it in her bedroom?
I have no idea what goes through her head. I don't even want to know. Don't you have a lab or something?
Fantab, what religion is she?
