I swear to god... someone that *hates* Sirius?? I go to dinner and come back to that sh!t! What is this world coming to?
You are basically the exact opposite in your Harry Potter fan stuff as me, D_I... and well, the majority of sane people.

I'm sorry, he just...his ego is so big, and...well, I hated him after the Pensieve scene in the 5th book. And I know that he was just a kid, but...not really. He's 15, that's my age. And he didn't seem sorry when Harry confronted him about it. I can't stand bullying or any of that schoolboy sh*t.
Just...yeah. I tend to root for the underdog. And I'm not saying that the majority of Slytherins aren't Death Eaters; I'm just saying that people group them as such, and that's just not fair.
And, for the record, I don't think any of us are sane.
Ah, so I see another meeting of the Adam Thread Book Club is in session
I've enjoyed all of the Harry Potter books, but nothing has been able to top Book 3 for me and I doubt Book 7 will be good enough to pass that benchmark.
I know this is going back a few pages, but a few of you were mentioning some sort of chat you guys were in. How do I join in?
BTW, I love your icon, Mel. There's something about Adam in sunglasses that just makes me giggle.

The plot of the series is excellent- the plot of each seperate book is increasingly bad.
Can someone invite me to the next chat, as well? It won't let me invite myself, and I feel left out.

I left for the library yesterday around this time, came home, went to sleep early, worked today, and I had 25 pages to catch up on. Considering you all have to sleep at SOME point (you do, don't you?) that's a pretty good average per hour.
Joining in the book club discussion briefly ...
I love the HP books, but I can't get into the movies and I can't really get in to other fantasy books. Not sure why.
My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Piccoult is probably one of my favorite books I ever read. I loved it. I read a bunch that she wrote but that was my favorite by far.
I got My Friend Leonard from the library yesterday, but only got 2 pages in before putting it down. I'm bummed I can't get into it now.
Heh ... when I first jumped on and I saw someone make a comment about Sirius, I thought you meant the Radio thing like XM, it wasn't until I read through the thread that I realized you meant from HP! :)

Now I feel so guilty!
I hate Teenage!Sirius. Grownup!Sirius sometimes annoys me, but I don't hate him. And I cried when the veil...he will return, you know.
'Cause he's magic.
So, just got back. I didn't really read everything, but yay for Mandi and Skittles for being able to go to a signing!
Mandi, you MUST get out of that lacrosse practice. Can't you see your convo with Anthony now? "Hi Anthony. I'm Mandi on BWW, the one with the trippy Nun!Adam icon!" You CAN NOT miss out on that convo.

Catching up...
Harry Potter-in my AP English class in high school our teacher read it each day aloud (nothing makes you feel like a kid again than being read to). I never could get into it...
Animal Farm-I didn't have to read this, but I did have to read Watership Down. That was enough to make me swear off animal books...
Anthony dates-Another Texas date! YES!
Yay for intelligent literature conversations. Lyk, its sOoOo aWeSomE!!~@!
PS-and since I didn't see if it was answered, that version of SOL was from My Favorite Broadway the Love Songs.
