Yeah, six hours of sleep is making me very tired now. But the doctor told me to take the pills earlier, so if I take them now hopefully I'll get some sleep tonight, and it'll wake me up now.

I've been trying to figure out how to copy things from my computer onto DVD's. I'm so computer-sped. I try and it says it went, and then it just doesn't play on my computer.

Okay, Rachael! I honestly felt bad because I know how that kind of stuff goes, especially when people are rude or ungrateful for stuff (although I don't think those adjectives describe anyone here!).

Em... backing up a bit, but were those small images that you posted a couple pages back of Adam in Cabaret? And why would you get in trouble for posting one of them? (Sorry, I'm apparently way out of it.)

I just put them onto CDs. My roommate told me that transfering some things to DVDs would make them stretch and distort on a TV screen.

Hi all!

Mel, if you stick a music CD in a DVD player (well most of them) it will play music with just a blank screen. I think you can do the same thing with Playstations, too. If you leave it as a computer file though, I don't think it will work on a regular DVD player. I have my stuff backed up in computer file format on a DVD because it holds so much more info than a CD. Hooray for my laptop having a DVD burner - I don't konw how I survived without one!! THank you to all who share :)

I have a DVD burner, I think, but it doesn't work when I copy videos on to DVDs

No, I can only play them on my computer. It's the difference in the screen size apparently. I just figured there's no point in going through the trouble of putting them on DVD if they're not going to work. Plus I don't have a DVD burner.

Sendspace bugs me, because a lot of the time, it tells you the server is too busy or something.
