I always print out tickets when I order them online (and I save them, too). I like instant gratification, and I'm always afraid the tickets might get lost or stolen in the mail. Going to the box office does have its advantages, though - you can communicate with an actual person and not have to click a million times if the day you wanted is sold out, plus no shipping and handling charges.

Wait, WHAT!?! Billy Joel and Elton John were together in the DC area and I wasn't there?!?! When was this?!?!
Atrias, the BO may have cancellation tickets available that don't show up online. I was so bummed, I wanted to see Les Mis before I came back to school, but they were sold out and I ran out of time.
Naturally, Mandi. I wouldn't leave you hanging.
Which myspace also post that message about his wife's cookbook? That's probably the real deal, it's not something that some fake person would bother writing up and sending out.

Does anyone know the link to the BWW Idol site? I'm too lazy to search through that thread to find it.

Fantab, the badwidth exploded on the site, so BSo had to take it down. All the links to the songs are on the first page of the thread, though!

I know I have all of my playbills, and I have most if not all of my ticket stubs.

Skittles - don't feel bad, I went to Nashville to see a friend cause Billy/Elton were playing down there. I once flew down there to see Billy in Memphis on a Friday and Jimmy Buffett in Nashville on a Saturday too. Those were my fun music loving friends. :)

I love looking through old playbills and seeing people that I didn't really know at the time. Or people who were ensemble members, and now have risen through the ranks.

I'm sad now that I don't have the playbills from shows I saw when I was younger. From now on, I'm going to save them.

ditto that, Fantab. I have seen a lot of people who wound up being good and fun in various things and at the time I was just bitter they weren't hte OBC or they were "just" in the tour of things or whatever. Makes me feel bad.

I still have the playbill from my first show. Phantom, when I was 10. We were so excited to be there. I got the orchestra to sign it during intermission.

I have my first playbill from Phantom too.
And don't worry Mel, the only OBC I've seen is DRS. (But, what a great OBC that is!)

I started saving playbills and ticket stubs about a year ago. I do have a couple random older ones that just never got thrown away. My mom still has some of the playbills from shows that she saw when she was in school. Those are fun to look through.

Back to the MySpace thing for a sec: I'm sure Em knows the real deal behind this, but I could have sworn that I saw an old post or a copy/paste of an email or SOMETHING that he typed in the past and it had the same haphazard typing. For whatever reason, I do think that was him.
And, uh, I honestly can't picture him as someone who IS anal about grammar and all that jazz.
He's covering "Maria"? I thought he hated all those old musicals.
Okay, I just reread it... Adam, what the hell? I'm very lax about grammar on the internet, but doesn't he know where a comma should go versus a period? Oh, Adam...

I obviously have never seen an OBC. I think I saw the OCC or at least part of it for Joseph. Donny Osmond was there.
The Mamma Mia cast had already left for Broadway by the time I saw it.
