re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part four

Ok, when it said Maria, that's from West Side Story, right, I've never seen it. Because I really can't picture him singing "how do you solve a problem like Maria"

Okay. Holy ****. I'm so happy you brought that up because the "how do you solve a problem like Maria" song was the one that immediately popped into my mind and stuck. I was about to cry.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part four

I'd assume that he meant Maria from WSS. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part four

re: My Space -- the MySpace Music thing on Adam is apparently legit. I don't think he does it himself, but it is somehow connected to Sh-k-Boom.

I'm going to get back in touch with them about trying to have Adam play here. They did it once, they can do it again.

What would we do without Emcee to tell us if these things are real or not? re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part four

I really hope that he does some shows in the city!

cheyenne - are the colored parts of your posters 5x7 and then just matted? (Trying to get a size gauge)

It'd be easy to do that with playbills for those of us who already own them. I've also seen bedroom borders done with CD jackets cause they're all the same size square. Those come out really nicely as long as you don't mind cutting the fronts off. I guess these days with good scanners you could just scan them and cut them out.

Thank you, Em. We trust you. :)

SD, can you post the blog entry? I don't have a MySpace, so I can't view it, but I'm curious.

And yeah, he has crappy typing. He spells fine, but uses poor punctuation and like... no capitalization. Laziness more than stupidity, I think. Even his chain emails are really lax, but the last one was PERFECT. I laughed.

The blog entry (I don't have a MySpace either, but I was able to view it):

hey everyone, adam here. let me start by thanking you all for coming here to myspace. i should have come here a while ago but seeing as im a bit technologically inept, it took the wonderful zan sabini offering her web knowledge. to get me here. first let me ask you, what do you all do here? shouldn't you be reading a book?...only kidding...sort of....

i thought id let you know what im up to. i have a new music project im working on right now that im very excited about. it involves some new players, and new material. i have decided to scale down my musician line up to bass, piano, and occasionally drums. ill be doubling as bass player as well as singing, which is a new and exciting endeavor for me. in addition to new material, and some reworking of civilian and model prisoner songs. i will be doing some really interesting rearranged versions of some classic musical theater songs i.e. maria...what i did for love...easy as life...glory!

im trying to crate a sound that can connect the new material im doing with some of the theater standards that you musical theater fans are so fond of. im very excited about it and i hope you like it. my first stop will be at the NACA conference in boston on February 20th...then some dates in the northeast in early april. i hope you all can come check it out.

i want to thank you all for your support. im means the world to me and i would not have the opportunity to do what i do without you

much love and thanks

adam

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part four

i think they are 5X7...not sure. but yea they sell them on the street on Times Square for 3 for $18 (not bad). you should go at night when they are just getting ready to leave..then they will pratically sell you them for nothing.

EDIT: they come matted

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part four

Aren't his chain emails usually the same as the myspace posts? Or at least wasn't that the case with the last one?

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part four

BG beat me to it! Em, I don't have a MySpace, either -- too many freaks out there. I read the blog from someone who copied/pasted it onto LJ.

Adam, "TO GET ME HERE" is not a sentence.

I'm still trying to get the image of Adam singing "how do you solve a problem like Maria" out of my mind. ::shudders::

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part four

Yeah, that sounds like him to me. I mean, my guess is as good as anybody else's, but I think thats definitely him.

Can I just say how F*CKING EXCITED I am?!? ahhhhh.

And early April. ee!

Okay, now I'm starting to think that maybe my computer has magical powers if I was able to read that blog even though I don't have a MySpace.

Might just be a fluke.

His new ideas sound AMAZING! I guess he's gonna focus on that for a while. *hugs Sh-k-Boom*

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part four

I don't have myspace and I could read it. *shrugs*

I can just imagine Adam sitting there pecking out these emails with 2 fingers on the keyboard, then calling for help whenever something goes wrong. Oh, wait, that's my mom. Nevermind. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part four

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part four

Wait a sec -- Maria from West Side Story, I hope! That'd be gorgeous.

The one that blog entry is on is real. One of the Sh-k-Boom folks confirmed it. There are fake ones, though.

i don't have myspace either...i know some people that put all of their personal info up on their...what a joke..uhh it gets me soo mad. a person was stalked that goes to my school, because of it.

i spend too much time on bww to even bother with one re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part four

EDIT: i was able to see it as well and i don't have a myspace...maybe it's just you Em re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part four
