Wait a sec -- Maria from West Side Story, I hope! That'd be gorgeous.
I certainly hope so! I immediately thought of "Maria" from The Sound of Music and I wasn't able to think of anything else until orangeskittles pointed it out.
I'm happy he's touring, but damn, I really was hoping to see him on Broadway soon. Oh well, I shouldn't get too greedy!

"They're singing, "Happy Birthday"
You just wanna lay down and cry
Not just another birthday, it's 30/90
Why can't you stay 29
Hell, you still feel like you're 22
Turn 30 in 1990
Bang! You're dead, what can you do?"

Maria from The Sound of Music would be the FUNNIEST thing ever. Oh my God, could you imagine? I always thought he would sing stuff from WSS well, even if he wouldn't play the part that well. YESSS. So happy.
I'm just glad he's staying here. ish.

Was I the only person that had assumed it was Maria from WSS? It makes a helluva lot more sense than Adam in a nun costume

Actually SD, I think that was me.
Or both of us.

She climbs a tree and scrapes her knee
Her dress has got a tear
She waltzes on her way to mass
And whistles on the stair
And underneath her wimple
She has curlers in her hair
I even heard her singing in the abbey
God. I ALMOST had resigned myself to thinking he was actually going to sing that, too.
Oh, sorry, CS. I remembered typing "orangeskittles" to something earlier and must have confused you two.

I am so excited about this. The ideas he has for this tour sound amazing.
And of course he needs to get his ass back on Broadway some time soon. Heck, he can even get the rest of himself back on Broadway too if he wants to!

CS, it was you that mentioned it first, but I had already assumed it was WSS and thought everyone else had done the same until people started mentioning Sound of Music.

I assumed WSS too, skittles. God, that music + Adam's voice = heaven for my ears.

I immediately thought of WSS, not Sound of Music. I think some of you just want to see Adam in a nun outfit!
I recognize the addiction to being alive.

Haha! I thought of Maria from WSS as well, but I would LOVE to see Adam sing Maria from The Sound of Music.

If Adam's gonna wear a dress, it had better be short, tight, and blue. That is all.

I can't say I feel anything in particular for Adam's legs.

I can just see him doing all the parts too, with different voices for each one.
