She said it was on some old old website. And like...it was just way weird. Cybele wanted to join?

Real-person fic is just creepy. Ugh.

Ewwww. That's so wrong. I know I came across some other Adam/Anthony fic where the had Cybele and Rodney in there and I just felt so dirty. I mean, these are real people, that all have the ability to use Google, and could potentially read this. And the people writing this crap STILL don't have a problem with calling Cybele an ugly bitch and treating Rodney like he's Anthony's arm candy!

OMG, Mandi, when I first read that I thought Cybele wanted to join the WEBSITE. She wanted to join in the sex in the story, right? heh.

Creepy. I can imagine having a fleeting thought about it if that's your thing, but not writing (and especially, publishing to the web) something that detailed.
I'm a horrible procrastinator. Usually I'll start 8-10 page papers that require research at like midnight the night before they're due. I do the all-nighter thing waaay too often.
Anyway, I didn't mean to imply that anyone is unappreciative. It's just weird how theatre is sort of a fact of life if you live in the city or within a relatively easy commute, whereas it's a huge deal (travel costs, tickets) if you don't. I'm honestly just jealous of people who live there.

Me too. GOD. Haha.
I know I shouldn't be disturbed by real-person fic because after all, it's just fiction, but I can't read it without getting ever so slightly skeeved out. One of my LJ friends posted real-person slash that she obviously put a lot of work into (and I friended her before I knew she was into that), so I tried to be nice and read it. I felt like I needed a good shower after reading it.

To me it just feels so invasive, although you know it's just fiction.

Well, I'm creeped out by the melding of real life and fantasy, first off. But like... if you want to write it, have a ball, but I don't think you should post it.
I think what's disturbing is how... invasive I feel like the writers are being by using real-life stuff.

Right, it's the posting part that makes it so creepy.

Posting it online is my issue as well. Too many people forget that it's not just the people posting responses on your LJ that can see it.

::thread jack::
do you think Without You will be available in book stores.. I mean I know it will be, but when RENT soundtrack first came out our music stores didnt get it for two months, and I live on Long Island. I'm worried because I went to order it with the RENT bible and it said it would come from february 17-march 2 and I want to have it in time for the book signing, so I just ordered the RENT bible by itself without Anthony's book cause my dad wouldnt order it seperate because he's retarded and doesnt want to pay double shipping costs. I'm worried that I wont be able to get it in time. Someone tell me I'm being neurotic.

Even if you don't get it in time, you can get it the day of the book signing. Wherever he's signing will definitely have it.
