That's what's going to make me ANGRY. He had no reason to do that!

Haha Skittles I always pronounce it like that.
But seriously, im confused as to what else happened this week. Everyone keeps saying it was a strange week. Was it just Di2 and BSo, or did something else happen?

katt, there was a major meltdown yesterday - I was in class when it happened and the thread was gone by the time I got home, but if you look back a few pages in this thread there's some discussion of it.
I'm really glad I got to see Will as Roger when I saw Rent last week. He was absolutely incredible - not only were his vocals in Glory impressive, but his interpretation was excellent, and Goodbye Love was just fierce.
sweetestsiren, I'm sorry you had to endure Constantine as Roger. After wanting to rip my ears off during some of his performances on American Idol, I don't even want to imagine how he did with something like Your Eyes.

"There was this one time an alarm went off - it was in the middle of '24.' That's just wrong. Everyone knows everyone was watching '24' at that time."

BSo had nothing to freak about, he didn't insult the whole board like Di2. Remember when DAME was changing all the thread titles? It's like that, BSo took it to the next level.
Allie, Tiff and cam are fixing it. Don't be sad.

Eww, I hate Constantine. I'm quoting from Wedding Crashers, but seriously he would eyef*ck you every time he sang.

It was not good, BG. He wasn't AWFUL vocally (although not that good), but the main problem is that he has no power behind his voice whatsoever. In all of his duets with Mark and Mimi, the others were completely upstaging and drowning him out. I didn't even know it was him that I saw until I looked back on it later, but yeah.

Wow, someone went and flipped his lid... I still want to know what happened with the BWW Idol thread. So much drama! Being a broadway board, that shouldn't happen. Oh, wait.

All of my Rogers have been good. Cary, Jeremy, Will.

How long is Will staying on as Roger?

Through January 29th. I'm running out of time

You get to see a brand new Rogie.

I would like to see a new Mark, but I think Matt leaves a few weeks after I see Rent. Granted, I haven't seen Matt Caplan live, but from what I've heard, he's really bored with the role and just not that good. Has anyone seen Rent recently that would know?
I saw Ava last year on the national tour, but I don't think any of the other current cast members were on the tour.

Some people have said that Matt's more into it with Will as the new Roger. Mandi can probably comment, and I'm sure Em will when she gets back.

I honestly thought he was fine. That was 2 weeks ago. We'll se what Em has to say.
And, pray to the Rent gods that Haven Burton goes on for Maureen! She was amazing!

Until we get the full report from Em later, as of intermission, she said Matt looked a little scared of Will and that Will seemed to keep Matt in check.

I would think that when I see Rent, it would be one of Matt's better performances because he is leaving in March I think. But who knows.
I've heard a lot of good things about Haven. I hope she goes on. I thought Ava did a pretty good job, but I want to see another interpretation of the role.

"Eyef*cking" was soooo TWoP's word for Constantine last season. Seriously, do a search for the word and 90% of the results will be on Television Without Pity's recaps/forums.
UGH, I want to post this on the Anthony thread, but I don't want to risk Anthony or someone actually reading it. But all the girls whining about how he didn't PM them back seriously piss me off. Why? Because you KNOW they joined BWW just to be able to PM him. That's why you rarely see those posters in any other thread on the whole board- because they could give a sh*t about Broadway, they just want the access to Anthony and the thread gives them a place to bond with other people with the same intentions as them. I've PMed Anthony a couple times and he's responded to a few. I'm thankful that he did, because I recognize that we're lucky to be able to interact with him like this. Most actors wouldn't even bother bridging the gap in the first place, but the fact that he even bothers to read- let alone respond to some of- his PMs here puts him in a whole different category. I just think he should be receive a lot more respect than many people give him- including many of his so-called fans in the Welcome thread- but apparently his best isn't good enough for them.

I think I'm just going to keep popping into the Anthony thread and posting pictures. It's not like they really talk about anything worth reading.

I understand what you mean Skittles. I've never sent him anything, because I really have nothing to say. Maybe I might have questions after I read his book, but at this point I have nothing of value to talk to him about so why fill up his PMs with another random post of fan-girl flattery.

Was it really Skittles? I spent a lot of time on TWoP last year, it must have rubbed off on me. Now that you mention it, I do remember that they said that. I knew I heard it somewhere other than Wedding Crashers. I haven't been on there much recently though, because BWW is my current addiction =D
And I agree about Anthony. Reading the first pages of the original Welcome thread, I was amazed that he took the time to answer everyone's questions. Most actors wouldn't bother, which makes him such a great guy. I think its ridiculous to be upset if he doesn't answer your PM. He's a normal human being with a life too. I actually PMed him today with a question about his book signing, but if he never responded I would understand. He doesn't have any obligation to answer each and every message that he recieves.
