I feel like if you give people an inch, they'll try to take a mile. They should be glad that Anthony posts or responds to messages on here at all. But instead of just being happy about that, they just whine about how he has to respond NOW.

And the Anthony thread tends to drive me crazy [well, obviously the end of the first one moreso] because

1) There is a huge lack of good spelling/editing posts, which drives me CRAZY. But like you mentioned the other day, I think I have been forever message board spoiled by TwoP, where if you post like that you get kicked off or warned.
2) They freak out about everything
3) They act like if Anthony isn't responding, then he must like other fans more than them. It's probably because the message consisted of OMG ANTHONYYYY I LUVVED YOU IN RENT.

I join the annoyance with whining about not getting pms back what he is doing for us fans is so far above and beyond what any other actors do so people hsouldnt complain!

Maybe it was just what I saw of him, and the fact that I haven't heard any other Mark than Anthony.

Last night, the first few pages of the new thread were nice, it was civil conversation, posting of pictures, responses to pictures, etc. Then the fangirls all came home from middle school and the thread is already back where the other one ended- a mish-mosh of teenybopper garbage.

Not that I think we're perfect, we get miles off-topic (well, it IS the off-topic board) from Adam and do focus on the hottness quite often, but at least we use proper English.

I just don't get it...I mean, we all go to school right? You wouldn't write LyKE THiSS in school, why go do it online? Age doesn't give you an excuse either. I started posting on TWoP and other moderated message boards when I was in middle school and never got so much as a warning. It's really not that hard to read over your post and see if it would actually make sense to the other people who are reading it.

Fantabulous, I totally get what you're saying. Even though Matt's goofy antics bothered me, I still thought he was excellent vocally.

He probably does wear it for that reason. I'm sure he was thinking on the Today Show, "Haha suckers, I'm getting away with wearing this and millions of people are going to see me."

It's so true. I love TWoP for that, no matter what anyone else thinks about their moderation. I politely asked some girl in the Anthony thread to edit her posts and not triple post and she freaked out over it. I mean, if she'd bother to read any other thread on the board, she'd realize that there are some standards.

I don't know, but I'd like to shoot the person who started that. It's just more work to type like that, and when you do immediately everyone reading is probably going to deduce you to being a crazy middle school girl. So what's the appeal in it?

It's really not that hard to read over your post and see if it would actually make sense to the other people who are reading it.

The sad thing is, they probably think their posts do make sense to the other people reading them, because it's what they understand. *sigh* Kids today...

The other thing that bothers me over there is that they've complained about Anthony not responding to PMs at least 4 different times. It's like someone is bored, doesn't know what to talk about, and blurt's out "Why hasn't he responded to my PM?". At some point, someone had even asked if anyone would give out usernames of people who had received PMs from Anthony because this person wanted to know how long ago it had been.

There's also a large difference between being silly and threadjacking like we do over here, but still doing it intelligently and wittingly, as opposed to just sounding idiotic and *very* juvenile.

The criticism is completely fair... I mean, from what I've seen, that is the ONLY thread on BWW where it's generally acceptable not to type normally and/or proofread posts. I do think that it's a certain few posters who make the entire thread look worse overall, though.
