Bumping up for my own selfish personal reasons. I want to be here for the new thread, less than four hundred to go.

I'm seeing RENT again in August with a friend! I wonder who the new Roger will be...

If we cut-down on posting, we won't fill this one up and you'll still be here in time.

I've been hearing the end of July. It's a shame - I'd love to see him again.

I just got back from DRS....I have to say I will never get the image of the bare left cheek of Norbert's ass out of my mind.
(Gah! It was soooo hilarious and terrific. Not his ass...the show...

I really really really want to see DRS before Norbert leaves, but I'm scared to just get tickets with not knowing when he's going to be on ...

I swear!
Honestly, I don't think I have ever laughed so much for one thing. It was so freakin' funny, and to top that, the story was amazing as well!

Rogue, was it your first time seeing it? That's awesome. I love that show so much.

Last night, Fantab and I went through my stack of old videotapes (Tonys, TV spots, Broadway on Broadway, Broadway Under the Stars, etc) and I dug up some old Adam tapes.
... it was so strange; they're from so long ago.

I especially liked the pre-children, pre-Grandpa shoes Adam. He was still all "I'm a rockstar!"
I recognize the addiction to being alive.

But the hair....
And yeah. It freaks me out that my dad owns those shoes -- multiple pairs!

With sparkly pants and that hideous flame shirt, Fantab?

Nooo, none of that.
U2 tank top and jeans, broad, muscular arms...

See, my love affair with Adam's arms is not unfounded.

Aw. They're not too bad now. But he could do away with the grandpa shirts and shoes.

Yesterday my mom brought him up, and I was like "But now he's 5,000 miles away!!!" all dramatic and whiny. It was pathetic.

It's not the distance that bothers me (well, obviously, considering I'm not even in NY) as much as the complete uncertainity of what he's actually going to DO there.

<-- arms!
Yeah. In all seriousness, it IS the career choice that upsets me, because regardless of his talent, because of his age and whatnot, I think he runs the risk of getting totally lost in oblivion out there. He doesn't deserve that.
