It was kind of funny, after that discussion of bread, they had amazing rolls in the dining hall today.

That. Looks. Delicious.
Oh, I've heard that someone on another board I'm on went to his gig tonight, so I'm going to pry and find out information.

Hey yall, I just got home and caught up with the thread. BWW seems crazy tonight!
I'm really sorry for bringing this up so late because it was like an hour ago, but I JUST read through the thread. Feel free to ignore me, but I just wanted to comment on this post:
"luvtheEmcee, you make me laugh. adam really is the most important thing in your life, isn't he?"
I just wanted to say, that I didn't really think that that was a very nice thing to say, and kind of hypocritical, considering that you are posting in an Adam love thread, but whatever, to each his own.

I asked this on the main board, but does anyone know what's up with Adam not staying around for more than a few minutes to sign things? That sounds very... not Adam.

Lexi, maybe it has to do with the venue wanting everybody out by a specific time? Just making a wild guess.

Well, they list it at 9-11. He'll probably sing for like an hour...

Jessica, you're probably right. Or, like Em said in the other thread, maybe it has to do with travel plans. Although, is he really traveling anywhere late at night? I'll laugh if he has his own little tour bus!

So...giving my roommate the Aida cd...poor decision.
She likes it.
Correction: She likes Strongest Suit and Gods Love Nubia. The rest she could care less about (although I catch her listening to Radames' Letter occasionally).
And while I'm glad she's actually listening and potentially accepting musical theatre (prior to living with me, an unheard of concept for her), we're talking a girl who sings old country music...and she's kind of ruining it...

Lol. I got my sister into AIDA, which is funny because she got me into RENT.
AIDA holds a very dear place to my heart, because it was my first high school musical. Every time I start randomnly thinking of a song, Gods Love Nubia comes into my head. Gods Love Nubia and My Strongest Suit were my favorite things to perform, and Dance of the Robe was everyone's LEAST favorite.
At least your roommate likes it and isn't making fun of it. That would make me mad.

I think the best songs on Aida are SO GOOD -- like, some of the best showtunes I've ever heard. The rest is ok, sans the Zoser stuff, really.
Dance of the Robe is bizarre, but I love Heather's belt at the end.

Aida means a lot to me...but I have high expectations. Expectations that can only be met by the OBC (blame them, not me...they did a heck of a job!)
So, apparently Adam was on some CN8 show or something tonight? I saw it on lj, anyone have any idea what that is?

I have no idea. I don't even know what CN8 is.
