Zoser really got the short straw.

I really dislike Zoser's songs too.

Poor Zoser. I'm not saying his songs are the best, but they aren't BAD.

I think Zoser's songs are lame too.
Dance of the Robe is bizarre, but I love Heather's belt at the end.
Me too. I listen to that song all the time just for Heather singing the final verse.

A little investigation revealed CN8 is a Comcast cable channel...a few news shows mainly it looks like, other stuff. Maybe the video will pop up somewhere...
*hears Written in the Stars from across the apartment* Oh gosh, Aida just turned into a hick *cries* This is the musical...not LeAnn Rimes and Elton...stop!
Zoser's songs really aren't that bad. Just compared to everything else, they're on the weak side. I would put Like Father, Like Son above Another Pyramid...LFLS is so Elton...

I like the begining and the end of Dance of the Robe.

I like Another Pyramid just to spite Lexi.

I like the song, but the lyrics are cheeeeeesy.

Lol. I heart Elton. Oh yes, LFLS is DEFINITELY Elton. I can hear a lot of Elton in My Strongest Suit, too. Also in Enchantment Passing Through, which reminds me of some of his softer stuff.
Aha! So that's what CN8 is.
Well, Tim Rice always manges to put some cheese into his stuff. Using Another Pyramid as an example: "Re: Another Pyramid"? C'mon! Lol.

I really want the Aida soundtrack badly. I was going to order it online today, but my mom says that Easter is coming up(she always gets me a small present like a CD or DVD)so I have to wait.

Yahoo.com, under headlines: "Original Broadway Cast of Rent Returns" with a picture from opening night on broadway and the same story that's everywhere about the reunion. Still kind of fun to see on yahoo, as opposed to hidden in the depths of entertainment headlines.
By the way, the bread was beyond amazing.
I'm off to bed folks...as usual, Tuesday's are nuts...those of you going to the concert...I expect details

Goodnight to Amber and Dancinqueen and hello to whoever's left...
Looooong day of work today, and it seems that you guys added four hundred posts since last night.. That BU interview was really interesting. What caught my eye was Adam being surprised when people come and enjoy his music, and feeling they must have some alternative motive.

Chloe! I was just going to make a post saying, "Wow, I wonder where Chloe is tonight."
I found that line interesting, too.

As did I. I'm SURE it's not entirely wrong; aside from his looks, look at the fans who are fans of his B'way work and don't love his music.

After Rent, obviously everyone just wanted him to be Roger and sing his songs. That must have been hard to overcome - hence the refusal to sing any Broadway stuff.

It is sort of true. In the past week, we've come across people who were dissapointed.

Slight threadjack - I'm not sure about this new av. I love the full size picture, but I'm not sure it really registers this small. Also it may be too much like Lexi's.

I think he's really let his ego and idealism go a little bit over the years.

I agree, Em. I don't want to speculate too much based solely upon a few interviews, but I'd venture to say that music was something he really had idealized in his life and it took him a very long time to let go of notions of "rock music," etc.
Chloe, I really like it! It doesn't look too much like mine.

Maybe the cropped version is a little better.
I agree, Emcee, and also that he has an interesting degree and brand of self-awareness.
