So would I, but the audience was probably expecting something Broadway-related when he said that he never had played the song live before, not thinking "OMG EVERY TIME AROUND IS NEXT!"
Also, I'd venture to guess that most people in the audience aren't as familiar with his solo work as we are.

Good morning folks!
Thanks so much for the review...don't be a stranger around here :)
So I actually set my alarm on the one clock that auto updates, my phone. Guess what...it didn't. BAH! I'm not late yet...although it'll be close!

Morning!
AHH I missed the beginning of Part 9!!
I was at a friend's party and just got back. We ate our cake with SPORKS! And there was a huge pineapple in the middle of the table..I almost died. LOL
Cold Case tonight. I have to go to my grandma's house for dinner..i'll have to go in my own little quiet room

I feel stupid, but what channel is Cold Case on? I don't have cable, and I'm terrified that I won't be able to get it.

I'm up, I loved prom dress shopping.
My aunt invited me over for dinner, I had no idea what I was going to cook tonight.

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for the reviews, links, etc. I watched the video clips on you-know-where, and they were wonderful! "I'm With You" was beautiful, lyrically and musically. As did everyone else, I really liked the arrangement of "Glory," and I loved what he did with "What I Did For Love" (that one was my favorite) and "Maria." I had been curious about how he would perform the latter. I really could not picture Adam singing that song as it is on the cast recording, so it was interesting to read his comments in Londres' review.

I love this part:
"...I'd never play Broadway tunes in my own set; that would've been like sacrilege to the rock and roll gods. I thought it would hurt my credibility in the rock community.
"It took me time to realize: I had no credibility in the rock community,"

"Nothing's lost forever. In this world, there is a kind of painful progress. Longing for what we've left behind, and dreaming ahead."
