Mind? I think it's great, of course! I was just teasing you because you said you were going to stop.
I don't know anything about Threepenny's run. Maybe you're right.
It's just... a weird show. I do want to see it, though.
All of Roundabout's stuff is limited, though the successes extend often. Cabaret was a complete fluke, though.
Right...didn't Twelve Angry Men extend at least twice?
hee. I'm curious about threepenny, I have no idea what it's about.

Ha, I did, didn't I? Oh well, searching becomes addictive, since it only requires hitting the same button over and over. :P
OT, but I'm happy Roundabount extended Streetcar (at least I think they did). I wanted to see that so badly.
I can't remember if they did. I think they did.
It was so brilliant. And I worship Natasha.
Okay, I really need to get to bed, especially since it's semi-officially 2:30 in the morning. Good night!
'night! I should go to bed soon too.
I'm looking forward to seeing 3penny. I don't know that much about it.
*LOATHES DTL*
I'm not tired yet.
Night, Chloe.
I just spent over 2 hours doing a truly awful homework assignment that involved making Excel spreadsheets to figure out bond prices. My brain hurts. Somebody post a pretty picture, stat.
Oh no computer talk

All right, I can't stop either. From IMDb:
Adam Pascal came to my school tonight... it was absolutely amazing. I have been in love with Rent forever, and he played some of his own songs from his two albums, Civilian and Model Prisoner, and from various Broadway shows, he was so good. I go to a small college, so it was really intimate and personal which made it really cool. He's undescribably gorgeous in person, wow, and incredibly hilarious. So sweet... wow.. thats all i can say...
awwww. I'm glad people are liking him. He puts on such a hell of a show.
This is all making me want so much more to go to one, though.
Yay, pretty picture! I feel better now
It's so great to hear all of these wonderful stories from people who went to the concerts.
I'm happy that I could make you feel better.
I really want to go to one of these concerts.

Pretty pictures!
She watched it *Hallelujah chorus* Granted, I had to explain half of the movie to her during...and some...comments were made that were a bit unneeded, but she watched it. And as soon as we finished it she said she really liked the music...that she'd have to watch the movie again to pick up on everything (she's...a little slow...I had to establish...several times...that Angel was in fact a guy...who knew it was THAT complicated?)
But we've survived...and it was positive...and I'm happy

I don't think I've posted on this thread, although I've lurked on here before.
I went to Adam's concert at BU on Friday. I drove up from Providence and got lost, so was a bit late. It turned out that the concert had already filled up with BU students and they had to turn people away. So at first I just watched from the hallway where there was a window to the room. It was in the basement of the student union and I could also hear the music from the hallway. A few minutes later, one of the students (who I think worked there) saw me and slipped me a wristband so I could get in. :)
There were about 400 students in the room (I overheard one of the organizers say) and it was very warm inside. Adam spoke between each of the songs, it reminded me a little bit of VH1's storytellers. Here are some of the songs that he played (these are ones I recorded clips of with my camera, and they were played in this order but there may have been other songs in between): Maybe This Time, Maria (he introduced this by saying he would not have thought of playing this song and wasn't necessarily a fan of the musical [west side story], but heard someone else do a great version that inspired him to try it), Something of Ours, Every Time Around (I think it was before this song that he said he's never played it live, to which the audience cheered and he said we might not react that way once we had heard it), Love Will Always Come Back (this was mostly sung by Larry Edoff, the pianist, and I think was written by him), next i think was the Springsteen cover, then Model Prisoner, and I'm With You ended the set. He introduced that last song by talking about how it involved the themes of 9/11 and the birth of his son and that it bookends the set, along with Beautiful Song at the beginning, just as it ends the album. He came back for two encores, One Song Glory and the song from ACL. Adam sounded great, he has such an incredible voice! I really enjoyed the show. Larry also did a wonderful job with background vocals and they sounded very nice together.
The concert started a little after 9, I guess. It ended around 10:30pm. Afterwards, there was a table out in the hallway selling Adam's 2 CDs as well as Larry Edoff's CD (the pianist). They were giving away free tshirts (with the cover of Model Prisoner, I think) to whoever bought both of Adam's CDs. Adam also did a short meet & greet at a table that was set up. There was a long line. He had to leave when they got about halfway through, so I didn't get to meet him. They allowed autographs and photos of Adam, but not with Adam (to keep the line moving). Afterwards he met with some press people for interviews, I think mostly from school papers. There were tons of cameras in the audience, so I'm sure more photos and video clips will surface. Someone next to the stage was video taping the whole show I think, with professional looking equipment, probably for the school.
Hi part nine
Yay Cold Case!
Part neuf?!
Schweet!
Excellent post, londres. Every time I read something about these concerts, I wish more and more that he'd do one in NYC after the college tour is over.
Thanks for the details londres. He has to do a concert in NYC.

Ha, I literally LOLed at that. I think Every Time Around is a fine song, but I suppose everyone was expecting Your Eyes or something like that.
Thanks for the info, londres, and you should stop by more often.

I'd personally rather Every Time Around than Your Eyes...
