You can buy thick hairties...
Eh...I kinda like my scrunchies...
I haven't thought about Baretts in forever. I used to wear those everyday when I was younger. I had like every color.
When I was little, I cut my hair secretly.. and then my sister "fixed" it, which resulted in my mom taking me to the hairdresser to fix it, which resulted in me having a boys haircut when I was in kindergarden, which was so embaressing.
You like scrunchies... but WHY?

I swear I know what hair bands are. It's just... combining them as one word implies something else, and I thought Adam potentially blabbing about his hair wouldn't be such a surprise.
Aww.
I had such different hair when I was younger--dark, thin and perfectly straight(it's now lighter, extremely thick, and curly). Anyway, it was long and I loved it! I remember kindergarten I was one of 2 girls to have the longest hair in my class, and most of my friends were jealous of me.
But then my mom chopped it off. When I look back at my first grade pictures, it doesn't even look short...it looks chopped off because I had bangs and such. I was devestated.
ETA: I don't know why I like scrunchies. They've just always felt more comfortable than anything else I've ever put in my hair to put it up.
My hair has been growing like mad lately.
I used to have the...mushroom..hair cut way back when.

Well I'm glad I wasn't the only person who thought he meant the hair accessory. :)
I have bronchitis. Just in time for break.
There was a discussion on Sex and the City about Carrie freaking out about Berger's character in his book wearing a scrunchie, because no self-respecting woman in New York would be caught dead wearing on in public. Then at the end, to make up for their fight, he had his hair in a scrunchie while he was brushing his teeth. Hee.
Just got back from the doctor. I have a sinus infection. I know, I was shocked too. The pharmacy is backed up so I had the choice of waiting for an hour or coming back tomorrow. I chose the former. I'm missing work, but I don't care, I've suffered enough.

aww feel better skittles.
When I was at the health center today I had to wait for literally two and a half hours. It seems everyone's sick right now. Must be that time of year.
Yikes, feel better!
Skittles, I'm pretty sure that's what I had too. I'm still congested after a week, and all I want is to be able to breathe!
Be careful about taking antibiotics; they stain your teeth.
Ah, bronchitis. I have much experience with that. Feel better, downtowndiva!
I was asked twice if perhaps I had environmental allergies. No sh*t Sherlock. Don't get me started on the nurse that wondered if I could be pregnant.
Stupid health center.
Oh my god, skittles, you totally beat me to the Sex and the City Berger/scrunchie story. I'm glad someone else thought of that! And they meet a woman at a club who has a scrunchie and Berger thinks he's won, but the woman turns out to be a very southern tourist.
ETA: CONGRATS to Sarah(!!), and I hope that all of you who are sick get well soon.

I hated my hair when I was younger and I still do. It's very curly and when I was in kindergarten my mom chopped it all off. A lady once said to my mom that she had 2 very nice looking sons (me and my brother) because my hair made me look like I was a boy.

I hear you, skittles. This is my record TENTH time getting bronchitis.
And the nurses at my health center do nothing but tell people they are pregnant or have an std. I swear, I can go there with an open wound gushing blood and they'll ask me when my last period was. *rolls eyes*
Aww Dancinqueen, I always wanted curly hair. My hair is really thin and it's SO annoying.
My hair is horrible! It gets so huge and gross aand frizzy when it's humid outside. I always straighten it because I just hate it curly!

Curly hair is a blessing and a curse in so many ways. Even when it sucks though, I love it and wouldn't trade it for straight hair (although, when I was 12 I felt differently).
I miss my curls.
Aww, feel better skittles.
When I was a little girl and had straight hair, I had a huge collection of scrunchies that I kept in this fluffy pink heart-shaped box with lace around the edges (nauseatingly cutesy, I know, but oh so pretty). Then my hair shifted to its current wavy/curly/frizzy state as I entered my teenage years, and the idea of even trying to fit it all into a scrunchie seems like an impossible feat.
I had a whole bathroom drawer devoted to scrunchies. I very recently got rid of them.

I used to be a scrunchie freak when I was little. I had EVERY color.
I just came back from shopping. I tried on about 25 pairs of jeans and only one fit. oy
Thanks Alex- I like my picture too.

I still have my scrunchies. I wouldn't be caught dead wearing one, but I can't bring myself to throw them away. I'm so bad at letting to of the past. Even when it's something as mundane as scrunchies.
