All of those are a bit overused, iheartcheyenne. I personally like your current username better. *shrug* (If I've seen it numerous times on IMDb, AIM, and CB... it's overused.)
Keep smiling, it makes people wonder what you're up to

You guys are all very welcome. I just wish I could have done a better job with it. The computer gods are really against me this week.

This is late, but thank you so much, tlp! I did away with dial-up at the best possible time- I shudder to think what might have happened if I still had dial-up. :/
I'm sorry, I have no ideas for usernames- I just think of something incredibly random. I mean, my LJ username is *human toaster*.

Good point, Skittles. I still felt a little bad for her while reading it, but, as I said, I guess that's one of the risks you take when writing such an open memoir. I liked that he was honest about his feelings and didn't strive to portray himself in an unrealistically positive light.
Knowing absolutely nothing about Josh, I don't really know what kind of backlash to expect on that subject.

My usernames tend to be quirky things that most people won't get - my AIM name is a reference to a class project I did in 5th grade, my BWW name is based on a comment a cashier at Tower Records made the day I bought Adam's CDs, and my LJ name was inspired by my freshman roommate's munchie habits.

I obviously prefer something short and sweet - why not choose the name of a character you relate to somehow? The only overused ones seem to be from Wicked.

My BWW name, contrary to what most people probably think, has absolutely nothing to do with Anthony or Open House. It's just a word I've liked for a while - it's been my AIM name for at least 3 years. And 428 is my birthday - April 28th.

That's my sister's birthday too, Fantab! As well Jay Leno, Jessica Alba and Suddam Hussein's.
Mine is because most of my screennames have to do with Skittles, ever since I was 12 and got my first AOL screenname. The orange part is my school mascot.
Ashley, if Josh was paranoid enough to demand his name be changed, he definitely had issues with it- regardless of how honest it is.

All of my screennames have something to do with dance because I can't get enough of it. If I had to describe myself in one word it would be dancer. So my screenname represents who I am. (The 123 is my favorite number)

I made up my name at Christmas. I'm Canadian, and I hate winter.

Hmmm....you probably want something that can be easily shortened into a nickname or has initials. Those always help.

I wish i could help you cheyenne, but anything I come up with will be pretty unoriginal. Take a look at my lame screenname!

I found out a few months ago that the first half of my AOL/AIM screen name is a dirty slang term in another language. I was kinda embarrassed, but I've had that screen name since I was in 6th grade and I would feel weird about changing it.

I would like to add my mom to the April 28 bdays. :)
My screen name is (my initals) at (my college). I started my AIM account that year and figured it was appropriate because I had just transferred schools. Now I use it for lots of stuff which probably makes me pretty traceable. Not that I'm hiding from anyone. :) Of course now that I'm not at UD, several people have thought that my name is J.L. Satud like it's my last name or something. :)

Alex, your username is fine. To be honest, I don't think a lot of people pay attention to one's username anyway. Of course, if it makes you happy, go for it.
Hey, I just stopped in at Adam's Myspace. Interesting-- all of the comments were down with a note from our buddy Tom not to bug him about it. I wonder if *someone* finally noticed how nutty some of those notes were?
In the past, I believe comments have been universally temporarily disabled for whatever reason (server problems?). I didn't witness this earlier today, but I doubt it was just the comments on Adam's MySpace that were down.

Ugh. My idiot roommate like... reconfigured our wireless network and didn't tell me. She's not here. *kicks something*
