I agree with Em. I don't think that that's a bad picture.

Are you kidding? That's what you consider a bad picture? My bad pictures are actually bad. Your picture looks fine :P
And I think I'm going home. I have a math project due, but oh well. I'll turn it in tomorrow. I still have to go home and read a 350 page book by tomorrow, and hopefully if I go to sleep or something for a while, I'll feel well enough to go horseback riding.

HI, just catching up.
About the Oscars, now didn't I tell you not to bother watching? Seriously, I'm sorry some of you were really disappointed, but in the long run, winning an Oscar is not quite so important as it feels on the night. Brokeback Mountain got all the major buzz and did well at the box office - nothing to cry about there. I also really believe Heath and Jake are better off not winning. Especially at such a young age, winning can be the kiss of death to a career. You don't get suggested for interesting roles because they're now "beneath" you, while more established stars beat you out for the big plums. It's really all okay, trust me.
Good detective work, Katt! Though we can't be really sure everyone was shot at the same time for the interviews, it does seem more likely than not. I think Adam might have just been wearing makeup for that interview, god knows why.

Another random fact of the day. I was flipping through Anthony's book, and he said that Daphne, Idina, Jesse, Taye, and Fredi left, until only he, Wilson, and Adam were left. Except, as that barely legible review I gave you can attest to, Fredi and Adam left on the same day.

I kind of remember that too. I guess someone didn't do quite enough fact checking. I also seem to remember reading that Adam was originally scheduled to leave a couple of weeks after Fredi, and his last day was a kind of sudden change. Maybe Anthony had that in his head.

From what I've seen, you girls are very photogenic. You don't have anything to worry about, Em!
Chloe, why did Adam change his last day? I vaguely remember reading something about how he was overwhelmed by fans (I think it was on these boards, actually, when I was lurking), but I don't know how true that is.
I'm taking Em's advice on my hair! I'm getting it dyed in a few minutes and I'll try to get a photo later.

Hi Mel! And I agree Lexi looks great.
Are you thinking of the guy who's now in film who wrote about becoming friendly with Adam at the stage door, and how Adam didn't had trouble dealing with the more gushing fans? I'm not sure he said anything about the shift in Adam's departure date, but I could be wrong. At any rate, I don't remember why, though I've seen references to him leaving kind of under a cloud with the producers.

I think somebody needs to explain the whole concept of "bad picture" to Lexi, because I thought that was a really good pic. I can't wait to see what your new hairdo looks like, since I like to live vicariously through people who can actually do things with their hair.

Hey!
My Rent sing-along party last night... was interesting. There were a couple others who said they knew all the words, so I was like, "Awesome. We'll have a good time." But it turned into a "Seasons of Love and Light My Candle sing-along", and then a "Listen to Allie sing along because she ACTUALLY knows all the words."
And I admit that I was TOTALLY showing off with La Vie Boheme! But I had a lot of fun, in any case.

OMG. A bit ago, I got a PM from BWW's photographer, asking if I was the girl who liked Adam Pascal, and saying that she had been going through some of her old stuff, and found a bunch of pictures of Adam; she said that rather than getting rid of them or something, she wanted to pass them on to someone who'd like them, and offered to mail them to me. I got them today.
Linda told me that the photos were from Joe's Pub, so I thought they were from last November's gigs. I opened the envelope and found nearly two rolls of film from the Summer '03 Sh-K-Boom gig at the Zipper.
I have never seen those sparkly jeans in such clarity, nor have I ever seen so much hardcore crotch-grabbing.
I'm a happy girl.

Heehee Em, that's awesome.
BBG, I'm the same. I curled my hair last night for my Oscar party, it was flat again in two hours. I could probably dye my hair lighter, but I'm too attached to the natural blonde look, I can't go any darker because I am way too pale.

As someone who has has witnessed the pictures, I advise everyone to get excited.

Allie, that sounds like a lot of fun.
Wow Em, that's amazing.
Sarah, I sort of have the opposite issue with my hair - it's naturally curly/wavy/frizzy and it's just not worth the time and effort to straighten it except for really special occasions. I can't really do anything with it except have it cut in layers with the longest being maybe about shoulder length - any longer and it's too unruly, and a short hairstyle would require me to get a haircut every other week.
