I was like "WHAT? JACK NICHOLSON - ARE YOU BLIND WITH THOSE GLASSES? DID YOU READ THE RIGHT NAME?"

I think, for Judaism especially, it's a lot about the culture. At least, for me it is, almost as much the culture as the religious aspect.
I've always viewed my being Jewish as more of a cultural thing than a religious thing. Everyone getting together to celebrate the major holidays, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs being such a big deal, knowing all of the fun Yiddish slang, etc. And even though I grew up in a neighborhood that's mostly Italian, most of my family's good friends are Jewish, now that I think about it.

I AM SO MAD.
I just added "hating the Academy Awards" to my interests on Facebook.

It didn't really matter to me which movie won, but I'll take some cookies anyway (especially if they're chocolate chip :-P)

Honestly, don't hate me, but I didn't think it deserved to win. I didn't think Crash was that good either.

Not to drudge up the Academy Awards stuff again... but Crash? Crash? That's quite an upset... it was good, but best movie of the year? I thought that Brokeback Mountain, Capote and Munich were all better.

I overslept again, but it wasn't just by a couple of minutes, it was by 2 HOURS! And I missed my class. It took me until this morning to realize there might be something wrong with my alarm since I don't really remember it going off over the weekend either.
I recognize the addiction to being alive.
