I got curious and went searching for Alan Cumming on WireImages... and wow, that was interesting.
Good night, all.
Since my parents pay my credit card bill (and often ask to use my card when making large purchases) and I don't really go home that often (most of the time, they just come to see me and bring me stuff for my dorm because it's easier that way), I guess it makes sense that they open the bill when it comes in the mail. Aside from over-the-top shopping sprees (which I try to pay for in cash as much as possible), they get upset when they see that I charged something that was less than $25 or so, because that's usually a sign that I let myself run low on cash.
They are making me pay for part of the cost of staying in a dorm this summer to teach me about being financially responsible, but since I'll have a job or internship, that shouldn't be too much of a problem.
Yep. I'm taking care of all the bills dealing with living off campus. Rent, phone, cable, internet, hydro, etc.
I think I'm going to go to bed now. Night, everyone.
Happy Feb 7! Go read Anthony's book so I can talk to you all about it - I have been wanting to burst! :) :) Have a zippy day!
Blah. I fell asleep at 9 last night, and I'm still tired. We so should have had a snow day.
Morning everyone.

Oh, I was totally joking about PayPal. Don't worry! Although... if any of you are really itching to send me cash, I won't refuse. :P
I want new rentsecrets!
Rentecrets are going to eat your soul.
Friday seems so far awaaaaaay.
Tuesdays are pointless. Though, according to ups.com, my book will be at me house when I get home.
I haven't made a Rentsecret yet this week. I should.

They were all boring this week! When the most intriguing one is about Adam potentially asking someone out over ten years ago, you know the batch sucked.
(Sorry, I'm not trying to insult anyone who submitted secrets from here, but I knew the secrets/stories so I had no real curiosity about them. )
I'm looking through some of the threads on the main board and yet again, it's so sad to see that every thread about movie musicals apparently degenerates into a Rent-bashing moment. I honest-to-God don't understand how people can rehash the same reasons as to why they didn't care for the movie every week and not be bored. I know I've mentioned this before, but I just. don't. get. it.

Is Nun!Adam going to continue on his pilgrimage today - or is he staying an extra day in London?
Ugh. We have at least four inches of snow outside and it's still coming down heavily. And I still need to buy new boots. This weather would shut down entire states, but nooooo, Syracuse is too macho to admit that it's too much to handle...
*grumbles and goes to put on more layers*
Skittles, doesn't it suck? It's beyond me why I'm sitting in school right now. There had to be at least 6 inches on the road when I was walking to catch the bus. *grumble*
On the bright side, it's not too cold.
And, I'll change Nun!Adam when I get home.
And now, off to French.

I have to walk a quarter of a mile to get to my class. And I should mention that it's only 4 inches here...because they already plowed the walkways at 6am this morning and this is all that's accumulated since.
I just saw my brother, he doesn't have a first class and comes in at 9, and our street still isn't plowed. Bleh.
Lexi, unfortunately, people know that Rent fans can easily become overly defensive. Half the time they start rehashing everything, it's just out of fun to piss off the people they *know* will come flying in to defend the movie. At this point, I just try to ignore that stuff, as hard as it is with it all over the main board. It should be interesting how much more negative crap comes out with the release of the DVD. I can see now all those people dissing Columbus and the cast all over again and saying how Goodbye Love and Halloween were terrible and should have been cut out of the movie. Hopefully, that won't be said, but I still anticipate it from a few. Sigh.

That's very true, Fantab. In that case, they're just insanely immature.
I'm sure most of you read CB anyway, but just to let everyone know -- there's an interesting thread on the CB movie board from someone who has an advance copy of the DVD.

Boo snow. I hate those days where it should have been a snow day but the administration stinks at life and decides everyone should drive on the unsafe roads to school anyways.
Woah, wait! Raul singing "Not While I'm Around"?? Where?!
Sorry, I'm about 5 pages behind. Good morning everyone!
*sigh* I wish it would snow!
Lexi, I don't know how I missed that thread earlier. Sounds exciting, though. Unfortunately, those 5 little scenes could have made such a difference in clearing up the plot and explaining characters. I'm a little upset about the line that didn't make it from Goodbye Love, even if it's just a deleted scene.
Morning Everyone-
I was watching the Tony Danza with Adam, and he preety much ruined his whole outfit with the old man shoes. It was amusing.
Random.
