My favourite is Angels, by Robbie Williams. Oh how I love that man. I don't know if that's high enough though.
See, I KNEW we could count on Mandi. Hehe. That's BRILLIANT.

Ooooh, I love that song, too. I'd have to do some octave jumping, though, hmm.
The tropical ocean in Ottawa, it looks like.
Mandi, yet again, you rock and I love you!

Yay for snorkling Nun!Adam!
Just a quick freak out...
Whatever you do...do NOT drink lemon juice or suck lemons. Quite a bad idea...the acids and stuff are really bad and can do major damage quickly. Sorry, major vocal geek moment. It's a common misconception. Decaf hot tea is very good...apples and water are also very ideal Taking a hot shower too and breathing the steam is really good. Feel better!

I've actually heard that about lemons. Baaad.
A shower or bath sounds SO good right now.

Can't stay away from BWW!
I'm not an experienced singer or a health expert, but, Allie, my ex-suitemate would steam with eucalyptus.

Eucalyptus makes me sneeze! And my nose is not bothering me at the moment, so I'd like to refrain from pissing it off, hehe.

Sorry. I actually like the smell of it.
I'm addicted to this site; I'm just wandering around the Off-Topic board, posting here and there. What a way to waste a day!
Mandi, you are terrific. And must I say, Nun!Adam is very talented.

I like the smell, too, Zyla, but it doesn't like me!

Why does it seem like so many people have their online red things turned off?
Broadway Star Joined: 1/28/06
Maybe because they have lives, things to do, and motivation to do them. Unlike me.

My motivation is... I dunno. A hot, hot shower. And then maybe a nap.
I don't know what online red things are.
If you're online, your "send PM" thing is red. But some people choose not to have that, and they always appear offline.
Oh, thank you. I wish I understood more about computers and different programs and stuff. It's really confusing.
Hi, catching up. I never realized that about the PM thing. Good to know.
About the DVD - I'm really looking forward to the commentary, and like everyone else I'm so glad that it's Anthony and Adam.

For years, my smart-ass uncle has been telling us that lemon juice is what singers use when they need to get over a sore throat. It's going to feel so good the next time I see him to tell him that he's wrong, no matter how many rock stars he knows who swear by it.
Deb, when you scream 'MANDI!', is that a good thing or a bad thing?

Allie, I hope you feel better. I haven't been feeling too great either lately.
Apparently, I got into an accident in the school parking lot today. Someone parked really close to me and I must have hit the other car on my way backing out of my spot, because some paint scraped off the front of my car. I didn't even notice that I was in an accident until I got home! I must have caused some damage to the other car as well and while I feel awful for causing damage to someone else's car, I'm honestly worried that someone saw all of this and is going to report it as a hit-and-run! Yeah, not a good situation.
On a better note, I uploaded the better quality "Thrill of the Chase" file I mentioned last night. This file sounds better than the "Thrill" that was posted a few days ago.

Thanks, Lexi. I like this song - it's kind of catchy.
It was in response to the swimming nun, so you decide.
kidding, I love him!!
Thanks, Lexi. Definitely better than the one I posted. I still can't make out some of the words to the bridge though. The tune is very catchy. Some day we'll have to sort out the whole Mute/Wind and Vision thing. I've heard Adam talk about being in "bands" at times. Maybe it's a case of an occasional name/personnel change, with the same core group.
Judging from the sound of Adam's voice and the lyrics, I would guess this is an early song. I think someone said it was from '89 or '90, but of course she could have been wrong.
