I didn't read any of the books. And to be perfectly honest, I'm not really a huge fan of the whole thing. I enjoyed the second movie, but I've only seen them a couple of times.
CLIPS! And pictures.

I've seen those before. I could totally play Anne, with NO wig. Pfft!

I'm surprised we've made it this far and no witty new subject line! Not that I have anything better...
I won't lie...my favorite rainy day movie is probably the massive Pride and Prejudice with Colin Firth.
Such good stuff.
Also good stuff is my Iced Passion Tea and Blueberry Coffee Cake from Starbucks
Heh, my 10th grade English class watched that while all of the other English classes were reading A Tale Of Two Cities.
I go to Starbucks solely for the chocolate chip cookies and the Chantico, which is truly the nectar of the gods.
Oh, Colin Firth in Pride and Prejudice slays me. I watch it at least once every two or three months, usually in one sitting. The brooding staring out the window at Elizabeth and the dog? The first proposal scene? The now-infamous wet shirt scene? I have to struggle really hard to think of any other actor in any other part that's more delicious.
I also preferred the Anne of Green Gables movies to the books, although I did really like the first book.
Does Tim Horton's have a theme song? Because it's stuck un my head. But I can't figure out if it's the JC Penney theme song.

"We're always fresh at Tim Horton's", I think.
I was just about to type that Allie.

WORST. BOOK. EVER.
Well, no. It was pretty torturous, though.
No, the worst book ever is either "The Red Badge of Courage" or "Moby Dick". UGH.
Moby Dick was AWFUL.

Moby Dick was pretty bad. I didn't read The Red Badge of Courage, but we had to read some of Crane's other works and they were awful. The Awakening is also on my "worst books ever" list that seems to be comprised mainly of American lit.
Haha, I'm leading this thread down a literary discussion again. I'm so sorry.
There!
Red Badge of Courage was pretty bad, but nothing will ever top Heart of Darkness for me.
I will not post another book comment after this, I SWEAR, but I agree that The Awakening was absolutely dreadful. There wasn't a single thing redeemable about it.
I think, that if I hadn't had to read HOD for school, I might have enjoyed it more. We were on a rushed schedule, and that made me resent it. I like "The Awakening". I'm also really liking "Mrs. Dalloway". Virginia Woolf was brilliant. I have to go finish reading it now, actually. 'Night!
What are these books you speak of? I've never heard of a book.

And she f*cking commits suicide at the end. I remember thinking, "I suffered through all of that for that ending?!"
Sorry, I'm stopping.

I'm sorry! I'm so done! I even posted that photo as a peace offering!
Can you say MASCARA?
Well, that's certainly a nice way to end a book club meeting
