What is Adam's patented ditzy girl voice?
Every once in a while he'll pretend to be one of his fans and go into this Mickey Mouse falsetto - "they like me, they like me!" or something like that. Emcee probably has more stories about it.
The ditzy girl voice I heard him use is more airheaded-Valley girl/flamboyantly gay man. It's really hilarious.
Do you remember anything he said using that voice, Amy?
I can't even imagine Adam's voice like that. Crazy stuff.
No word yet from the r/j production guys. I'm not expecting an e-mail for awhile. But still. I'm impatient.
Adam can do surprising things with his voice, like the very old man he did during the Rent commentary. He also likes to do a British accent every once in a while.
I checked out the r/j main page and noticed that they encouraged questions, so hopefully they'll be getting back to you. It'll be nice to have some sort of confirmation.
Chloe, I don't even remember, but it was during his concert at SUNY Cortland. People were cheering after a song and someone yelled something out and he responded with it. I remember the voice more than the words.
All this reminds me that he said he wanted to do a cartoon voice sometime. He seems to like things like The Simpsons, South Park and Family Guy a lot.
I don't know if I could picture Adam doing a cartoon voice, it would just be too wierd. Although it seems like he would be good at it.
Adam has such a repatoire of voices!
-80 year old man (Rent movie commentary- Tango scene)
-patented ditzy girl
-Sketchy voice (beginning of the Rent commentary)
It would be interesting to hear him in an animated movie. =P
ETA: I would love to hear Adam on Family Guy. Love that show.
It would be interesting to hear Adam try something like that. It would certainly be different. On the other hand, seeing him is at least half the fun. Speaking of that, I was just reading an old interview from when he did his concert at Adelphi in early 2001.
After playing Roger in Rent you were dubbed by many, like the media and some of your fans, as a pretty boy, how do you deal with this? Do you think this has affected you and your life in any way?
It's totally flattering. When you see the show, the music speaks for itself and if someone finds me attractive, it's good for the show. I guess that makes me lucky.

Pretty boy
I was just watching parts of rent and I just noticed that in LVB that Adam spins! It's when they sing "to you and you, you, and you!" Just thought it was more entertaining than seeing him jump.
Chloe-that sounds like something Adam would say. Haha
Alex-I'm gonna have to watch that now!
I'll have to check for the spinning too. I haven't looked at the Rent movie for a while. Maybe I'll watch it tomorrow and see how it strikes me now.
Here's the latest comment on Adam's myspace blog. I think it's hysterical:
watch out for the perverts on *your* myspace. geez, man, am I scared for you.

at Adam's show in Indiana someone screamed out "Just Here to the Left of You" and he said "what? oh. (and then in the girly scream) 'Just Here to the Left of you' that's what she said. We don't have that one ready today".
Chloe- that comment is funny. And true.
Alex-I watched Adam do the spin last night and started laughing. I was laughing so loud that my sister came into my room and told me to shut up.

I loooooooooooooooove Adam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You are not alone, but toning it down just a smidge wouldn't hurt.
Adam-Pascal.com has got a reorganized media section. It's all for downloading rather than viewing or listening to on the site. Latest addition - mp3s from the Kean concert.

I bet you do
Chloe I just noticed that on the site, it looks cool, I like it.
She also has a lot of the promotional appearances Adam did for the Rent movie, for anyone who missed out on those. That was an exciting time.
Chloe-I'm sure it was an exciting time. I didn't get to see much of the promotional stuff because I was in London the week the movie came out.
Actually there was a lot of stuff before and after too. It was hard to keep up with all the various cast appearancess and promos. Before that were the posts from people who visited the set, were extras or watched some of the shoot. and even before that, Anthony Rapp's posts on the board here about the casting and rehearsal process. It was intense. I've never seen anything like it and probably never will again.
I don't know why I'm getting all nostalgic.
Hehehehe. I'm having so much fun! I'm putting my friend's head on other people's bodies who are posing with Adam and putting some of her picture's next to some of Adam's. Lol. They look cool. Its for her birthday.
I take it your friend is a fan too. Did you introduce her to him or is that a coincidence?
