If any of you are in contact with Lexi, maybe you could let her know, since her internet time seems to be sporadic. I'd hate for her to miss this while she's actually in NYC.

Happy fourth of July from hot and sunny Florida! I spent only about 3 hours outside and I'm already sunburned, Ick!

Anyway, Adam singing at the fireworks display? I'm going to convince my parents to watch it.

Right. They record the music for the fireworks display in advance, and the fireworks are programmed to go off in time with it.

I have to be the only person who isn't enthralled with fireworks, but I'm watching/listening regardless. I hope someone can record the audio... ?

Anyway, I met Fantab today and she is SO sweet and amazing. I'm having the time of my life right now!

Okay, Adam better not be singing the grand finale! I don't think I can stay up that late!

I should probably tell the story... Fantab and I were walking around the theatre district. I suggested that we should go to the Nederlander and take one of those touristy photos in front of the OBC photos. Unfortunately, there was a semi-homeless (we think he was selling umbrellas) man in front of Adam. However, he seemed friendly enough, so I just gave him my camera to get a photo of both of us near Adam (I'll save my obscene poses for another day... kidding ). Fantab was like, "Um, I'LL take the photo!" and I was all, "Nooo, we need both of us in it!" Then I thought the man started talking about Adam being "wealthy," but it turns out that I misheard. He also told us that Adam would come back from California if he knew we were after him... that's when we left. Heh.

Hah, it's okay! I don't think the man was aware that there's a zoom function on the camera, but maybe that was a good thing considering the heat.
