re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part ten

Ugh. I'm so pissed off. I wanted to make an audio recording off of my TV, but my recording device is in my dorm. So I was going to tape it, and then record off of the tape when I got back. I just went to mess with my VCR and everything before the fireworks began, only to discover *just* as Adam's song was starting that my dad's been f*cking with my TV and the VCR is NOT CONNECTED TO MY TV. ARRRRRGH. He couldn't have told me that small bit of information?

And my mom is sitting here going "what kind of song is this?!" Someone shut her up.

If it makes you feel any better, I got an audio recording the old-fashioned way (i.e. holding my camera's microphone to my TV). The quality is probably horrible, but I can upload it when I get home.

Do we know if that was his only song?

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part ten

He only did one the other time, so my assumption is that he's only doing one this time?

Yours is the same quality mine would've been, but it'll tide us over until (if there is one this year) the better recording surfaces. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part ten

Adam stopped singing and my mom stopped talking. Grr.

As much as I love Adam, I just couldn't sit through another American broadcast. Probably because I'm not American. It just seems that every holiday all the channels are taken over by God Bless America concerts. It just gets to be a bit overkill for me.

Lexi, are you from a small town?

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part ten

Aw I can't believe I missed it. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part ten Oh well. My cousins & I were light these mini fireworks in my backyard. It was pretty cool, but I'd rather hear Adam. What did he sing?

Yay for Mandi! re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part ten

My mom just ASKED me if this was him. She can't tell by now? He sounds just a LITTLE distinct! She also said she thinks he should "sing with Aida." *headwall*

This song sounds like fake Elton John music.

He is? Hee, I turned it off. I'm DVR-ing, so I can record whatever he's singing now in a bit.

ETA: Yes! I am back! I made my sister take me home a day early. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part ten

Heh now I feel like an idiot. Which song was his? I can't believe I didn't recognize him as it went by, but I wouldn't have expected it. That's what I get for not reading anything about it beforehand!

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part ten

It was alright. I mean, it can get pretty boring just sitting in the woods for a week, but I hung out with my cousins a bit and got to sleep a lot. And it was pretty there. *points at avatar* But, I was starting to go insane, and my sister was leaving today, so I just jumped in the car with her, and now I have the house to myself for the night. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part ten

Here's Adam singing whatever the hell it was that he sang. Not amazing quality, but yeah. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part ten

Mandi, when you have all the MP3s compiled, can you send links to me via PM? I'd appreciate it so much!

Does anyone know actually what the hell he SANG? Heh.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part ten

Hmm ... now I'm really confused. Is there a different thing on New York TV than the rest of us see around the country? I'm watching Macy's fireworks and it's on NBC but now that I'm listening to Mandi's file I'm realizing that there is no way I could have missed this song. I heard lots of patriotic music like Stars & Stripes forever and then "Georgia on my mind" and some other stuff. I don't remember this one.

Anyone else out there that can tell me if I am just suffering from selective hearing loss? :) I didn't hear an Idina song either but I read an article that she was singing one as well.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part ten

He sang a song that they wrote for the fireworks, I believe.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part ten

My sister called me and told me to turn on NBC because the song playing was by one of the RENT guys. We hung up and I called her afterwards to thank her for telling me and she said "I knew it was Adam Pascal" to which I replied "You remembered his name, you're an Adam Pascal fangirl!" Mind you my sister is 30 years older than I and has had to deal my RENT love for about 8 years, which includes hearing the OBC recording an obscene amount of times and being taken to see it on Broadway and in the movie theatres both of which she finds flawed.

Just thought I’d share.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part ten

I can't imagine that it would have been different where you are. Adam sang first, a song obviously written for the show, and also sang near the end with Darlene Love, sort of a reprise and more belted version. He sounded great.

ETA: I have the whole thing on tape.

Meh, my DVR is being dumb, and I can't watch to record it right now because I'm taping other stuff, but I'll try to get the second song as soon as possible. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part ten
