Emcee, it sounds like you made a good decision not to fly across the country to see Adam. I'm assuming that the LA date won't be his only fall show, and it's extremely likely that there will be another show in or close to NY. (I hope.)

Do you have to declare before you start at NYU?
It wasn't so much a decision as like... that it wasn't even considered. I really didn't even consider it once, because it was just... so... not worth thinking about. I hope the NY dates are for real!

You have to kind of unofficially declare so you can obtain access to certain classes, but you don't have to officially declare until the end of sophomore year, I believe.
I'm not sure if I'm considering English because I truly enjoy literature or just because it comes so easily to me. This doesn't make too much sense, but I enjoy reading, but I don't like most books I read, especially books from pre-20th century.

siamese dream - That's a nice change! I just graduated this past May w/ a major on Political Science and I actually want an English degree now but I really want to go Law School (which was the reason I went into Poli Sci). I'm prepping now for the LSAT. Scary!
Ohhh, Adam concert. I'm waaayyy too far to even consider it but wow. I really hope it sells well and runs smooth. Is it a full concert?
