That makes sense, since it's such a big school. English is nice, I guess, because it's very flexibile.
Thanks Chloe!
Lexi- Well better now than later, I suppose I think it's great that you're exploring your options & seeing what interests you.
ETA: I just remembered that one of my friends is going to be a freshman at NYU
Hey, Lexi! I can see what you mean about being an English major because you'd be good at it, but I think you'd probably like it, as well. But as you said, there's still a lot of time to change around.
This completely made my day:

Hi, arapp. I take it that you'll be going?
I'm glad to hear that a lot of people from the board will be going -- I think that's like five so far, so that means you all can tell us about it.
And provide lots of pictures!
I took a look at the seating chart, and the Brentwood seems to seat 500 or so. Given that it's LA in good-sized theater, I'm kind of expecting the show with the band.
He's much more fun with his band. I hope so!

The full band also suits his voice and songs so much better.
I wish my university did that. Unofficially declare majors so you can get into classes. There are no reserved spots for psych majors in ANY of the psych classes and since everyone and their mother takes intro psych their first year, they already have the prerequisites. So I end up getting shut out of psych classes because the arts and sciences majors registration dates are later than other schools, and they all take psych classes for their elective. I've complained about it sooo many times, but considering the university won't LET the psych department do anything about it, I'm basically screwed.
Sorry for the rant, but it's something that has come up every semester for me and it's frustrating.
That really seems inexcusable, skittles, like some administrator just doesn't want to be bothered.
I really must get on a better sleep schedule, so I'm off for now. Have a good night!
That's so frustrating, skittles! I can't remember how it is for intro psych at my school, but for all other psych courses, they'll leave ten or fifteen seats that they don't open up during online drop/add so that psych majors who need them can go and force-add into those classes. That's always a problem when you're in such a popular major. It's really hard to get bio/chem labs at my school, since they're underequipped as it is and every year more students need them.
'Night, Chloe!
Hehe, so I asked a few of our esteemed thread posters to educate me more about Adam, and I received the following responses:
"He's taller than me? And looks much skinnier in person. His wife's a cook, she should do something about that. *forces food*"
"He's pretty cool."
"He smells good. *licks him*"
Hee. Thanks, guys!

My school made us declare at the end of first year. I really wish I had more guidance or something because I ended up in the wrong program for three years. The only people who realized this were my parents, who I was in no mood to listen to during the first two years.
Unless something unexpected comes up ::knocks on wood:: I will definetly be going. :)
Great - be sure to give us a play by play. I'm particularly curious as to whether he does anything new.
Sweetestsiren, I had no idea you were in need of education! Actually, I'm not surprised Adam looks a lot thinner in person. That's often the case, and unfortunately pretty much a requirement in Hollywood right now.
Chloe, I just feel like I know comparatively little about Adam, but I'll find out more.
Oh my god. This totally belongs in the banal thread, but since this one is more populated by girls: I am having the worst cramps I think I've ever had. I can't from my current curled-up position. It's all I can do to keep from throwing up the medicine I just took -- which probably means I shouldn't be typing, but distractions are good.
Oh nooo. I totally sympathize. I hope they go away!

Ashley, I know it's hard, but don't worry about feeling clueless about Adam! First of all, as Chloe said, no one would have guessed it, and secondly, I think everyone is more than happy to fill you in on whatever you would like to know. Don't force anything -- what you're interested in is what you're interested in. However, if you're truly worried, I can send you some stuff when I get home.
I also hope that you feel better soon. I get cramps relatively often, but my worst experience with cramps was during 11th grade PE. I had horrible cramps, but we were supposed to run a mile and I didn't want to beg out of it in front of a bunch of guys. I could not stand up after I was done. If you can move from your current position for just one minute, try to get a hot water bottle. They help so much.
I hope that they go away soon Ashley.
Ashley, I really hope you feel better soon.
For better or worse I have this compulsion to inform people, so please tell me what areas you feel you need to know more about.
ETA: and that goes for anyone else with a question.

Erg!!
I have a *2nd row* ticket for Adam's concert. But now I have to return it for 3 5th row tickets so my friends and I can sit together. I want to sit with them and everything, but I just wish it could be in the 2nd row..
.... do they let you do that?
5th row isn't that far and you're still seeing him.
Well I cant exchange it, but I'm gonna try to sell the 2nd row one.
