I told my mom I wanted to major in theatre and she looked at me like I was high.
Hi Atrias - parents are naturally going to worry about that making-a-living thing, but don't let that stop you if it's really what you want to do.
Eh, I know. It was just kind of a funny reaction.
I completely know what you mean. My mom asked me if I was on something when I got back tonight. Parents are not always fully supportive - my mom thinks I'm gonna go off and be an artist and starve and end up in a ditch. I have to say, I'm looking forward to having my hair back. I had to put in one of those temporary color rinses to make me blond for the part, but offstage it's really not my color. Too a la Gwen Stefani/Christina Aguilera.
Hello - anyone around tonight?
Hey, Chloe. I am, although it does seem kind of quiet today.
It is really quiet around here. I haven't had much to post in awhile

Hey, i'm here.
The Cirque show "LOVE" is going to be on tv at 9 (i'm pretty sure). That's the one I got free tickets to! I recommend watching it, it's so so amazing.
I'll check that out. Thanks
Yeah, thanks for the suggestion. Aside from the Rentsecret battle over perversion and Just Here, it has been very quiet.

No problem, it's on nbc.
It seems to be a feature about the making of the show, rather than the show itself so far. It must have been quite a spectacle.

Just got home from having dinner with some friends. Excited about moving in a few days. That's all. :)
How's the packing going Lexi?

We actually shipped quite a few boxes in advance, so there isn't much left to do. There was a huge fiasco with the boxes, but I think it'll work itself out. I probably should start packing a couple suitcases, though. Maybe I'll do that right now.
Hey everybody, I'm here Sounds like your packing is pretty much all done. yay!

Sounds exciting Lexi!
Today I cleaned out my medicine cabinet and finally pulled up this contact paper that the previous owner had put on the bottom shelf. It was all rusty underneath, so now I'm going to have to fix it somehow. The cabinet is probably original, from the '20s, so I don't really want to replace it.
This all feels like a metaphor for certain issues I've been keeping under wraps where they've festered away. I guess I'll have to fix those too.

I love old buildings, though. Our house has no flavor. My grandmother, on the other hand, has a clawfoot tub.
I'd ask what's wrong, Chloe, but I'm guessing that whatever is bothering you is too deep and detailed to go into on a message board. :)
Right, I won't bore everyone with the details, but no deep dark secrets, it's just about how to deal with recent changes in my life that I've sort of been ignoring. BWW is very helpful with that.
My tub isn't clawfoot, but also from the '20s and made from cast iron. It must weigh tons, but it's very big and has a slanted back which makes it great for lying down and wallowing.

We have a jacuzzi, but I never use it. Maybe I should before I leave.
It's funny how easy it is to not take advantage of what he have.
Angela, I love my house but it needs a lot of work at the moment. That's one of the things I haven't been dealing with very well.
You definitely should, Lexi!
I hope things work out for you, Chloe.
That sounds really interesting, Chloe... old homes seem to have so much more character, although I know they come with additional maintanence issues. Good luck with dealing with everything, both the actual and metaphorical.
When exactly do you move, Lexi? I love my new roommate. We met through mutual friends last year but didn't know one another very well, but I think it's going to be just perfect.
