re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part ten

School starts tomorrow for me! I can't believe it. It doesn't even feel like I had a summer. Last year of High School, then I am getting out of here. I hate this town!

Good morning.

Wow, dancin! That is pretty early to start school. Hope your senior year is great! Good luck tomorrow.

Good Morning :)

I also start classes tomorrow which is INSANE. This is my last fall semester at college...I haven't decided if this is good or bad...

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part ten

Hey Amber - I'd say it's both. Your college years can be really special, but you wouldn't want to stay there forever.

I was just looking at the Amazon reviews for Civilian, and the one that caught my eye was by a native of India living in Hungary. (The world is becoming awfully small.) S/he said, "The harshness in his voice is laced with tenderness and softness, but you can't ignore the edge. He doesn't pretend, he hides nothing." That's a really excellent description, I think.

Lexi- Well, I've emailed with her a few times, and she seems really nice. I think she's partly (or maybe all)Taiwanese, and we have similar book and movie tastes. She also likes some musicals. I think it will be good. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part ten

Hi Angela - yes, pretty quiet.

Five pages to part eleven and eight weeks to Adam's concerts in NY. Did you ever get any further information about those?

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part ten

Chloe- Nope, they never e-mailed me back. I guess I'll e-mail them again right now. I'm excited now. But I'm sad that summer is gonna end soon.

So far they're still listing those same two dates. If the tour starts in October some time, it seems like the schedule will have to go up in a few weeks.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part ten

I'm still doubtful there's going to be a real tour this fall. Besides the fact that Adam has stated he's at a point his life where he doesn't want to tour, I've only heard of scattered dates for this fall and this winter. He's also not even done working on material for the new album (yes, I have official word, hah), so touring to promote nothing doesn't make too much sense.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part ten

But he himself was soliciting tour dates on his myspace blog, so he must want to do it. It does seem like the best alternative if nothing else is happening right now. I wouldn't assume that the scattered possible dates we've heard about are the whole story. It's too bad that there won't be a CD to sell at the shows, but he can still promote it as "coming soon" and have people leave their email addresses so they can be notified when it comes out.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part ten

Thanks so much for the information, Angela. I'd obviously love to go to the concerts that are actually in Manhattan, but judging by the venue's website, most of the shows seem to have a two drink minimum attached to them. So, unless I get a fake ID by then...

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part ten

Wow. Two more shows!

Isn't Adam really against doing shows that aren't open to the majority of his fan base? Maybe it won't be 21+.

ETA: I just looked at the site (www.metropolitanroom.com) and I don't see anything that indicates it's 21+. A lot of the shows have two drink minimums, but so does Joe's Pub - and that's all ages. By the interior pictures, it actually reminds me of Joe's Pub. It looks to be a very nice venue.

I recognize the addiction to being alive.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part ten

I looked at the Metropolitan site also, and it does say "2 beverage" minimum, which indicates to me that ordering a couple of Cokes might do it.

Well, this is exciting!

Before I get offline I wanted to mention that Cybele has posted some new pictures of the kids on her blog, and Monte looks even more like Adam now.

Thanks so much for the information and link, Angela!

Yeah, thanks again for the information, Angela. It was really nice of you to email them.

Those kids are totally going to be gorgeous when they grow up.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part ten

No problem everybody. Hopefully I'll be able to snag a front row seat at the Queens Theater. There's only a few left, but there are a lot of seats & all for the same price.
Thanks for the heads up on the pictures. I agree with you Lexi, they are gonna be soooo gorgeous/good ling when they grow up. I love Lennon's "Mom" shirt. Hah, funny how he's wearing that shirt that's posted on his mom's site.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part ten

Well, I survived my first day of senior year!!!! Yay!!!!! I would love Adam to add more tour dates, but you're right Lexi, having a tour to promote nothing is kinda pointless.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part ten

There hasn't been any official announcement of dates yet. We're getting in ahead of everyone else because of Angela's persistance in emailing one of the companies booking him. I'll bet you anything there are many more. I've seen mention of possibilities in Georgia, the midwest, Nevada, and of course the date in Virginia in January.
