I certainly hope your dream comes true. Do you remember what the movie was like?
Nope, only that he was in it. I was more concerned with the fact that I had abandoned a kid I was babysitting at a park.
Random: My sister has turned into a wicked fangirl. When she was at a banquet the other night the theme was Wicked. She took home a bunch of posters and stuff and now she has stuck them all over her wall and door, and as I mentioned in a previous post she wants to have a Wicked room. I also cannot wait until finals are over!!! I have a pre- calculus and physics final on the same day and it won't be pretty.
*headdesk*
Good luck with your finals, Dancin, that does sound like a hard day. Your sister sounds *very* enthusiastic, but being a somewhat obsessive fan myself, I can't really throw stones.
Atrias, so it sounds like you abandoned some poor child in order to go see Adam in a movie. Now there's enthusiasm!

Besides Adam's Two Ladies, someone posted a video of him singing Glory from one of the Joe's Pub shows on that certain site as well. I asked the person who uploaded it if she had any other footage from the show, but she said no, that's all her friend could shoot before her battery died. It's not a bad video, though, and I'd suggest that everyone check it out if you need something to do.
Complaining about Wicked is passe. Don't get me wrong, I hate it as much as the next person, but it'll pass.
Better Wicked than High School Musical. I keep seeing ads for the soundtrack and the DVD. A Disney Channel TV movie musical is like the trifecta of awfulness.
So far I've managed to avoid seeing or hearing anything about High School Musical. But then all I've watched lately has been L&O reruns and Antiques Roadshow.
PS: Take a look at the Joni Mitchell thread if you want to read some incredible lyrics.

My school was supposed to do Little Shop next Spring, but now we can't for some reason, and everyone keeps suggesting doing High School Musical. The director keeps saying no, so hopefully he doesn't cave in. Oy.

I really don't know too much about Joni Mitchell, although I should, especially considering I'm a huge fan of quite a few female singer/songwriters. I absolutely love "A Case of You," though, and look forward to buying some of her music in the future.
I was trying to find a really good example of her on the net, but nothing really seemed quite right. I can't even get the samples on Amazon to play. Anyway, I love her album Blue the best.

*waves* Hey everyone
Oy Mandi. Are schools even allowed to do High School Musical?
They'll be able to this fall.

I'm hoping for Aida instead.

oh. my. god.
make it stop!
My friend who is a little too obsessed with High School Musical and is trying to convince the drama teachers to do it next for our spring musical next year. I'm hoping that doesn't work out.
I really hope that this is not what my director picked for our musical next year. I'm hoping for a really good musical because it's my senior year. *crosses fingers*
Not like these are new pictures, but they amused me:

There's someone who sells a copy of that, but I stopped myself before I bought it (thank God). I think it would be amusing to watch them cook, but I'm sure I'd reach a new low if I were to purchase a copy of that.

I couldn't even get through one song of High School Musical, it was like they were making a pop video. And they're "hot guy" was weird looking. And then their commercial dance thing bothered me, so I stopped watching.
Joni Mitchell is Canadian, and that's pretty much all I can tell you about her.
When I first saw those pictures, I figured Adam just watched while the other people cooked, but now I know I was wrong. In her cookbook Cybele tells a sweet story about how on one of their first dates, Adam invited her to his apartment and cooked her a very nice dinner from scratch.

It does kind of look like he's just hovering about in those screencaps, though. I mean, Jesse's got the apron.
Gawd, what can't that man do? I mean, besides dress himself.
I'm having a total mental breakdown over the most embarrassing thing. I need some Adam lovin'. ^_^
So, how about those eyes, eh?
LOL, Adam looks confused.
For guitargeek, Adam at WeSparkle:
I'm still just reeling from what I just watched.
awww, cuuuuute.
He looks tan.
This play I saw today had a bit on how stupid and superficial LA is, and how shallow the people there are. I laughed.
