Ok Magazine? It's from last month, but I was bored and decided to do the puzzle.

Aw, nice...I may have a slight addiction to crosswords...I blame my dad, he started it
I used to do crosswords a lot, but now I'm addicted body and soul to sudoku. I think it engages a different part of your brain because there's no language involved. It doesn't even need to be numbers, it could just be any set of nine symbols.
Isn't OK English? I'm surprised that it would have an Adam clue.

I think I have to be the only person who doesn't get the sudoku appeal. Maybe it's because I'm kind of afraid of it because it has to do with numbers, but I'll try to look at it the way you do, Chloe.
I officially graduate tomorrow. I'm not looking forward to the ceremony itself, though.
You graduate on a Sunday?

Happy graduation! I agree, the ceremony itself can be deadly, but the event is pretty important.
Sudoku has nothing to do with math. It just uses numbers because they're convenient, but it could be nine of anything. It's really a logic exercise.

siamese, you're not alone - all of the numbers in sudoku make me afraid. :) Good luck with your graduation...mine is next Saturday, and I'm dreading every minute of it.

Thanks, actorgal. It always makes me happy to see lurkers post, too.
I do sudoku because it's more of a "mindless" activity than crossword puzzles. It's logic, but it doesn't require pre-existing knowledge like crossword puzzles.
I'm what I would consider a "math person" (calculus-related meltdowns in past year notwithstanding), yet sudoku just doesn't appeal to me at all. My best friend got me a book of puzzles for Hanukkah thinking I would like it, and I ended up just giving it to my roommate.
It drives my mom crazy that I don't like doing crossword puzzles because I'm so good at helping her when there's a part she's stuck on.
Chloe, OK is originally from the UK, but they started publishing a US edition last summer. It became one of my weekly purchases when I went through my annual seasonal addiction to celebrity gossip magazines :-P
Right, as I said, it really has nothing to do with math. I think to enjoy it you have to like figuring things out and working out patterns. Since I love mysteries and my mind insists on making patterns out of things like bathroom tiles on its own, it figures that I would get sucked in.
Ah, so that explains why I've been seeing OK around a lot lately.

I go through that, too! Every summer. It's so pathetic of me.

My brother and sister in law do sudoku, but I stink at it. I like word-finds myself.
I'm going to bed now, but wanted to mention that I'm really wondering what direction Adam's songwriting is going to go now. I'd also love it if he finally recorded some of the songs he was singing a lot while promoting MP, like Mesmerized and Apology.
My mom is going on about that Pedro guy again.
Is she actually serious about this guy, or just teasing you about him?
I love sudoku! I'm so good at it too. The other day my mom was stuck on a hard one and did the whole thing for her. They're addicting too. Well I've been at a graduation party all day and I promised my physics and pre calculus book a date so I should get on that...yeah!
Crosswords > Sudoku.
I don't like Sodoku.

Amen to that...I'm not a sudoku fan either. It's all about crosswords...
I'm sore from kneading bread (I finally couldn't take it anymore and had to make something)...now the unfortunate task of waiting on it to rise...boo...
My grandparents tried to give me a giant Sodoku book to do on a plane.
I don't like those types of puzzles, I'm not very good at them. I like those logic puzzles "If John is taller than Joe, but shorter than Steve how tall is Jane?" type things.

I'm personally not a fan of Sodoku, but my mom loves it. She even prints out Sodoku puzzles from the computer to do in the car...
I've attempted Sudoku a few times, but have never succeeded. I should probably try an easy one, instead of a medium or hard one.
But, I'm a crossword gal myself. I wrote about crossword puzzles in one of my essays for Barnard.
