Perfect timing for me to sign on, I guess.

There's a senior all-night party sponsored by the public school system, but I'm not feeling up to going. I have a headache and don't really feel like seeing my class one last time. I think the graduation ceremony itself exceeded the number of hours I can tolerate with the class of 2006.

Our all night senior thing is called Project Grad. I'm going, but it's the night before I go to Costa Rica, so I'm going to try to sleep in a corner or something. Ours is three days after graduation, which is stupid.

Thanks, Elphie. :) I feel like a loser, for the lack of a better word, for just sitting here, but I'm just not feeling up for it tonight. Perhaps if I felt a bit better.

I'd give my thoughts, but I really have no idea as to what that particular phrase means (hence the question, I suppose). I have thoughts about the song in general, though.

Sorry you have a headache, though ceremonies can do that to you.

My suggestion about that phrase is that in thinking back to whatever inspired that song, Adam remembered seeing the sun on the horizon looking strangely artificial, like it was made out of cellophane. The image itself doesn't really relate to the song in that case, so I'm curious as to whether anyone else found an interpretation that does.

Maybe seeing the rising sun through mist makes it seem cellophaney. I don't know, I haven't seen a sunrise in years.

This is totally and completely random, but Daphne rolled up her lyric sheet to Without You in Rent's 5 Year Reunion. Maybe Adam got the idea to do that same thing with his Happy New Year lyrics from her.

Or maybe that's just a common thing to do.

Speaking of dyeing his eyelashes, though... one of those HQ photos from the weSparkle benefit? It looks like he's been going a bit crazy with the dye, or at least using copious amounts of mascara.
