Re: Adam in Saks cosmetics department
The cosmestics department in Saks is on the first floor and you have to walk all the way through it to get to the escalators and elevators, so he *could* have just been passing through on his way to the rest of the store. I know it makes for a better story to say he was perusing the make-up counters, but in terms of the Fifth Avenue store, there's a more logical explanation.
It's been so miserably hot this weekend; I have no motivation to do anything.
Me too. Although not *miserably* hot here, it's the first warm, humid weekend of the season, and I find it hard to do much.

I'm shocked that after it being so hot here all week...it's cool and cloudy for the holiday. Won't last long unfortunately (sees 97 on the weekly outlook)
There's this one part in Taboo where Cary sounds exactly like Adam. Only problem is, I forget which part. :-/
It's not really hot where I live, it's just very very humid! Which I hate because than my hair gets all curly and it drives me crazy because I can't do anything with it.
I went to check the temperature online and it was much cooler than I thought it was. Then I realized it was still set to check the weather for Syracuse. It's about 8 degrees hotter here.
My first venture into screencapping. It was hard because I had so little control over the video. As you can see I chose one as my av. Right choice, or do you prefer one of the others?

For some reason I'm having to do these separately.

I like the one you chose, Chloe. It's very... Adam.
It is, I agree. That reminds me of a story. Adam was in a couple of the American Theater Wing seminars, and in one Patrick Stewart also appeared. Stewart was mentioning things he felt an actor shouldn't do, such as touch the furniture unnecessarily and point. Adam started laughing, and when asked why, said he was thinking of all the pointing he does in Aida.

I like that picture as well...
Adam's American Theatre Wing seminars were always kind of amusing...the Rent one particularly (cause he really looked lost)

The whole autograph scene in Merano is very "him" in general. One of Em and I's favorite parts is when some girl faints.
I tried to watch those videos, but in all honesty, grew kind of bored. Maybe I'll give them a try again when I'm recovering from my wisdom teeth operation in a couple days (although the pain meds will probably make me even more drowsy...).

I find them really interesting (everyone should watch the DRS one...hilarious and informative)...then again, I'm a nerd, so I probably can't judge...

can someone PM them to me? Thanks.
Chloe I like your avatar
You do have to sit through a lot of fairly uninteresting stuff. I had a slightly different take on Adam in the Rent one. He seemed kind of unfazed by it all to me.
How many are you having out, Lexi?
ETA: I don't think the seminars are downloadable, but you can access them from the Theater Wing site.

I'm getting all four of them out. They're nowhere close to coming in, but we wanted to remove them before the roots started to form. I had braces for three years, so I didn't want to risk having them erupt and mess up the alignment of my teeth.
I also have a piano recital tomorrow and have to work both tomorrow and Wednesday. I wanted all stress to disappear with the last day of high school!
All four in one day, Lexi? Yikes. I had the ones on the right side taken out first, then the left side three weeks later. I don't think I could have handled getting both sides done at once.

I had all 4 of mine out at once...mine were starting to barely come in, and I wasn't about to have them ruin the years and thousands of dollars spent to get my teeth straight...it really was that bad (but I was a little medicated perhaps through that weekend)...
I can't stop hiccuping...ugh!

swallow three times Amber
ouuch..I could never handle all four at once. Hope you feel better soon!
My brother just got his done last Wednesday. I kept wanting to eat his jell-o, but I restrained myself. He's all puffy and bruised now, he wouldn't let me take pictures.

Most people don't have all four out at once?
Eek.
Strangely enough, I'm mostly just scared of the IV needle.
People should send me Adam-related things to aid in my recovery. :P
It varies a lot, I think. Plenty of people do it all at once. Maybe the first day or two will be harder than if you only did one or two at a time, but at least you'll know you'll never have to go through it again.
IV needles are surprisingly not much at all. Just don't look.
I'm not sure if most people have all four out at once or not, but the surgeon who did mine said there was absolutely no way he would do that with me because I didn't weigh enough to handle all of the Novocaine it would require.
